Hello everybunny!Let's talk about the work we've been doing these past days >w<
First of all, we want to update about the commissions we're currently working on. There are very few left on our queue and, if everything goes well, we may finish the year with a clear queue. So we'll work hard on them!
In one hand, we have went back to the Ader plush. We started working on this character alongside the gnoll, since their patterns are similar and we wanted to practice bulky and muscular bodies. We honestly learned a lot with the Gnoll, so it was easy to apply that in this design. They still have different bodies and we have to keep that in mind!
After the body, we started working on the head, which has a very unique shape (like a furry deer). Luckily, we got a pretty shape in very few tests. We then worked on the arms. It was a bit more challenging since the hands have to lay flat on the floor, while keeping the fingers thickness. We used a pattern similar to Lopmon's ears as a base.
And this is how it's looking so far! It still needs a lot of work, but we're happy to have finished the most difficult patterning ^^ Now it's only details and making the final plush.
On the other side, another commission we have to make is a Chao from Sonic. It will be around 40cm tall, but as always, we start making it smaller and then we scale it up to the right size! The thing with this Chao is that it's going to be made of monchi minky so it will be suuuuuper squishy. But you know that mochi is more difficult to work with and to get a perfect shape with it. It's super stretchy which makes patterning more challenging, plus Chao has inconsistent references that don't help visualize the shapes in 3D at all x_x It looks like a drop but more flat.
After several attempts, we have almost perfect patterns! Look at how cute it looks already ;__; don't you want to hug it?We want to make some adjustments, like making the arms a bit smaller and round the tip of the feet, but we'll probably do that directly on the final plush. We're waiting for the good color fabrics to arrive. It's a color that's not available at our usual store, so we had to order it elsewhere. So in the meantime, we're working on other projects!
Apart from these two commissions, we also have to work on a human and Hackmon (from Digimon). We'll soon show some WIPs of them :D
Speaking of commissions, do you remember the strawberry plush we made for that plushmaking game, Toymaker? Do you remember that we talked about making a "DIY Strawberry kit" as one of their kickstarter rewards? Well the devs loved the idea! So they asked us to make some test kits to see if it's a viable thing to make. Since our original plush was embroidered, and not everyone owns an embroidery machine, we decided to go the printed fabric route. A couple days ago we received the custom printed fabric for the first tests. We were excited at first, because the pring was BEAUTIFUL, but then we were shattered when we found out that the fabric is not stretchy AT ALL. In the fabric samples we got from the store, it was stretchy, regular minky. They probably changed the fabric but kept the same name and code, which disappointed and angried us because we were not informed about this change. We wrote a complaint and are waiting for the store's response, and we have to see if we can use a different fabric... But well, at least we know the print has both great color and quality.Once we have any news, we'll update about this project!
Leaving commissions aside and getting into Patreon rewards, we have kept working on the physical rewards for the Sherpa tier. For Moguri, we are also waiting for the rabbit fur to arrive. In the meantime we made a digivice, foxy keychains, etc.Once we finish the Moguri, we'll continue working on the other pending rewards :3
Finally, you may wonder how are the Guilmon patterns going. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about him hehehe. It's just that since we posted the lizard expansion pack, we have focused on commissions and plush rewards for a while. But we'll soon start posting Guilmon WIPs!

Hello everybunny!Vamos con un post resumen del trabajo que hemos hecho estos últimos días >w<
En primer lugar, os queremos actualizar un poco los encargos que estamos haciendo actualmente. Ya quedan pocos en la lista de pendientes y, si todo va bien, quizás podemos acabar el año con la lista terminada. Así que queremos trabajar a tope en ellos!
Por un lado, hemos vuelto a tope con el peluche de Ader. Empezamos a trabajar en su patronaje a la vez que hacíamos nuestro Gnoll, ya que sus patrones se parecen un poco y podíamos practicar como hacer bien estos diseños "musculosos" . La verdad es que aprendimos mucho con el Gnoll, así que trasladarlo a este diseño fue bastante más fácil. Pero aún así, tienen cuerpos diferentes y hay que tenerlo en cuenta!
Después de hacer el cuerpo, nos pusimos con la cabeza, que es muy única (como de ciervo furry). Por suerte, en pocas pruebas salió una forma muy bonita. Luego nos pusimos con los brazos. Era un poco más de reto ya que las manos deben apoyarse en el suelo, manteniendo el grosor de los dedos. Usamos un patrón parecido a las orejas de nuestro Lopmon como base.
Y así se ve de momento! Aún le falta mucho trabajo, pero estamos contentas que el patronaje más complicado nos lo hemos sacado de encima ^^ Ahora queda literalmente hacer detalles y pasarlo a limpio
Por otro lado, otro de los encargos pendientes que tenemos ahora es un Chao de Sonic. Será de unos 40 cm, pero como siempre, lo hacemos primero en pequeño para luego escalarlo al tamaño que buscamos! La pecuaridad de este Chao es que va a ser de tela mochi para que sea suuuuper achuchable. Pero justo ya sabéis que con esta tela es mucho más complicado sacar una forma perfecta. La elasticidad complica el patronaje, y encima Chao tiene unas referencias un poco caóticas para saber cómo se ve en 3D del todo x_x Recuerda a una gota, aunque algo aplastada.
Después de varias intentos, ya tenemos sus patrones prácticamente perfectos! Mirad qué adorable se ve ya ;__; dan ganas de abrazarlo o no?Queremos hacer unos ajustes, como hacerle los brazos un poco más pequeños y redondear la punta de los pies, pero son cosas que ya haremos a limpio seguramente. Aunque ahora tenemos que parar el proceso hasta que recibamos la tela de color azul que nos falta. Es una mochi que no tiene nuestro distribuidor general y tenemos que pedirla fuera. Así que de mientras avanzaremos en el resto de proyectos!
Además de estos dos encargos, ahora mismo también estamos trabajando en un peluche humanoide y en Hackmon (de Digimon). Pronto os enseñaremos alguna fotito de sus procesos : D
Y hablando de encargos, recordáis la fresa que hicimos para el videjuego de hacer peluches? Os acordáis de la idea que les comentamos de hacer un "kit de costura para hacer tu propia fresa" como recompensa? Pues les encantó la idea! Así que nos han pedido hacer las primeras pruebas del kit para ver si es rentable y todo. Hace un par de días recibimos las primeras pruebas de tela estampada! Como la original era bordada, hemos hecho un diseño de estampado porque no todo el mundo tendrá una bordadora en su casa jeje. Al principio estábamos super ilusionadas, porque se ve PRECIOSA. Pero luego tuvimos un bajón tremendo, y es que la tela que nos ha llegado NO ES elástica. En muestrario de telas que recibimos sí lo era. Seguramente, han cambiado el material aunque tenga el mismo nombre, lo cual nos decepciona y enfada porque no nos informaron sobre ello. Ahora estamos a la espera de ver qué nos dicen con la reclamación y buscar otro material que se pueda usar... Pero bueno, al menos sabemos que el estampado queda bonito, tanto en color como calidad. En cuanto tengamos más noticias, os informaremos del proyecto!
Dejando los encargos y yendo a las recompensas de Patreon, hemos seguido trabajando en las recompensas físicas del sherpa tier. Para el moguri también estamosesperando a que nos llegue la tela de rabbit fur bonita para acabarlo. Y de mientras hemos hecho algun mini peluche que nos pidieorn, como Digivice, llaveros de Foxy, etc. En cuanto terminemos con el Moguri, seguiremos con el resto de recompensas pendientes :3
Por último, seguro que muchos estáis deseando saber cómo van los patrones de Guilmon. No os preocupéis, que no nos hemos olvidado de él jejeje. Solo es que aprovechando que habíamos subido la expansión, estos días hemos querido enfocarnos un poco más en los encargos y recompensas de peluche pendientes. Pero pronto os iremos enseñando WIPs de Guilmon!
