ENGLLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny! We hope that you have a good Halloween week and October ends in the best way for you~

Today we have a very advanced WIP of Guilmon! We apologise beforehand with the bright color we used for the fabric hahaha

In our previous post, we showed you the first head tests we made. We did a couple more, but before making the embroidery test, we decided to work a bit on the body. That way, we could see everything together and make any changes needed to attatch the head to the neck. And we could also rest a bit from the head pattern.

So we started working on this dragon baby's base body! We thought we could use Agumon's pattern as a base, but they have many differencies. First, we made the torso, trying to define the curves on the back and waist. Then, we added the bust piece. In Agumon and the Gnoll, the bust was part of the body pattern, but for Guilmon we want to try a different technique that, if it works well, it will make the bust more prominent! You will see it when we make the final plush ^^

Once we had the torso, it was the arms turn. This was the piece we needed more tests of, like 4 or 5. We didn't want to make just a 2D piece, we wanted to define the muscles on the shoulders and arm, making it look more realistic and with volume. So after several tests, we made one we loved! In the photos the right arm was the first test and the left arm the last one. You can see all the shapes and curves closely >w< it looks so cool!!

Finally, we worked on the legs. We doubted on what to do with them because usually, on figures and plushies, they make his legs straight on the ground, like our Hoodie Lizard. But we felt that Guilmon would adopt a more fun pose, with bent legs and feet on the ground. We made a couple tests and for now they look like this. We're not completely convinced yet and we want to make another test bending the knees more and making the whole leg thicker, let's see how it turns out!

Overall, we are liking the body patterning A LOT. We want to make some changes, like making the torso longer. But we're very happy with how it's going. We'll try the changes together with the embroidery test! What do you think? Do you like the pose and shapes? We read you!

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!
