DESCRIPTION

After her makeover, Constance started spending even more time at Kendra’s place. It felt amazing to walk around her neighborhood and fit right in with everyone. Of course, her color choice still made her stand out, but Constance felt she was getting more positive reactions, especially from men.

Being catcalled constantly made her feel more comfortable wearing revealing outfits and flaunting her body. Still, while she enjoyed the male attention and liked to wink at them occasionally, she never went further than this. She had barely any experience with kissing, and the sexual comments from the men made it pretty clear that they wanted to go way farther than that. It was safer to stay away.

She was turning herself into a trashy girl, but not that trashy.

Her constant day drinking and spending time in front of the TV made Constance abandon her college classes entirely. It felt unnecessary to worry about her education when she could be an ignorant dumb girl instead and enjoy her life. She had no desire to learn anything other than drama-related news and was looking forward to forgetting her college curriculum over time.

Of course, the consequences of her new lifestyle eventually caught up with her.

As she returned from another day at Kendra’s, Constance found a letter from her university in the mail. In a few sentences, it was stated that due to her recurring failure to attend her classes, she was expelled from her university with immediate effect.

Constance had mixed feelings as she let the news sink in. On one hand, she was expecting this letter sooner or later. It felt liberating to know that she wasn’t a college student anymore. On the other hand, she knew that her consequence-free life was over now. Her parents would hear about her failings very soon and react accordingly. Given how bad their reaction to her weight gain had been, Constance knew that there would be harsh consequences. She looked over the letter one last time and decided to wait until her parents contacted her.

Constance didn’t have to wait for long. Only 4 days later, she found a letter from her parents in the mail.

It was as short as the university letter but with harsher wording. Constance was told what a disgrace to the entire family she was and how her parents didn’t want anything to do with her anymore. Effective immediately, they would stop any funding for her and not consider her their daughter anymore. If she ever wanted back into the family, she would need to prove herself for many years and find a way to bring right the wrong she had done them. The letter was signed by both her mother and father.

After reading the letter, Constance leaned back and thought about how this would change her life. She was now officially free from all her family’s burdens and expectations. But that also meant that she was on her own now and couldn’t sustain her current lifestyle anymore.

The first thing she would have to do was downgrade her overpriced apartment. She would have to find something smaller in a cheaper area for a reasonable price. She would also have to find her first proper job to get the money for rent. As she had graduated from an excellent High School, she was sure she could get a decent-paying job without trouble.

Constance got out her laptop and began looking around for job opportunities. But as she kept searching, a tightness in her chest began forming. With time, each job looked less appealing to her, and she found herself depressed by the thought of going there every day.

Closing her laptop, Constance took a deep breath to concentrate again. She knew where her depressed mood was coming from. For the last months, she had spent all her time trying to fit more into Kendra’s neighborhood and found it to be a thrilling experience. And now, she was looking at jobs that would distance her from this lifestyle.

Was that really what she wanted right now?

Constance took another deep breath before considering the big opportunity opening up. Her life was about to change significantly, so why not try out the most exciting possibility: fully immersing herself in Kendra’s lifestyle and neighborhood.

She could quickly get a cheap apartment in the same building Kendra lived in. Most of them were already fully furnished, be it with the dirtiest furniture she had ever seen. It would be the perfect introduction to her new life chapter.

To sustain herself, Constance would get a mindless minimum-wage job. Somewhere she would sit around, waiting for an opportunity to take a smoke break or even have a little drink. It would make her just enough money to make it through the month. Constance felt herself getting turned on by the thought of being forced to exclusively buy the cheapest groceries and clothes.

She would truly become one of the residents of Kendra’s neighborhood. Maybe she could even befriend some of them and experience what it’s like to party with them. She was sure they knew how to have fun.

And if she ever wanted out, Constance still had some savings in her bank account. She would leave those untouched until her desire to live her mindless trashy life faded, and she was ready for another life chapter. But until then, she would enjoy her time as a low-life to the fullest.

She was ready to become part of the lowest social class for real.
