A big reason for the delay is getting more and more detailed. The first work started on patreon is Gundam Mk-2. This level of detail can be done in 2-3 weeks.
Then more and more details. until November. At a size of about 20cm, my Dougram's level of detail is ideal. But it will take more than a month to do so. So I thought maybe some changes needed to be made.
Perhaps change the monthly model to irregular. A model will not take more than two months, and it will be released upon completion. The price will not change because the workload has more than doubled. The pricing in CGTrader will increase.
Now for the second thought. I recently used AI to generate mechs. AI can quickly generate great designs. Details are fuzzy, asymmetrical, shapes don't make sense, and I can fix those. I think this can be made into miniatures. In this way, several models can be made in a month. Maybe a few simple articulations, replacement parts.
The most popular 3d printable models I see on patreon are miniatures. But this is not popular in Hong Kong. So I want to ask... Is this must be used to play tabletop games? Would you or anyone you know be interested in if it wasn't for tabletop game use?
If it does, it will still be suggested and voted on by the Mecha bros. And there will be more. Mecha bros can provide designs (whether AI generated or not). I'm intrigued by the idea. I've been on patreon for a year, and what surprises me the most is your suggestions and votes. My thinking changed in the process. What I want most is to make mechs with you guys. AI generation can make this even better. A Mecha bro said in discord that we can give a theme, such as aquatic mechs. The appearance, name, and world of the mecha are all decided by us. Regardless of the market, we do what we like.
