Since we are already over halfway through Magical Mishaps 2, I’m feeling like I need a break. The last two chapters will have a lot going on, and I want some time away from the project so I can come back with fresh eyes and more enthusiasm.
That said, instead of working on chapter 4 in the coming months, I’ll be developing a more interactive game experience. The fundamental reward for doing well gives you traditional visual novel scenes, but it won’t be as linear as a usual chapter.
Elven Butler Sim:
You are a gnome butler of some skill who has gotten into debt shortly after arriving at the mountaintop elven city of Solsaxiom. The debt collector threatens to take your life if you don't pay your debt by the end of the month (1 week). With no other option, you get to work, waiting on multiple elvish nobles. Can you make enough money and survive the city's many dangers before the deadline is up?

P.S. The original Magical Mishaps game has received an update on itch.io that should make the infamous quick-time events more consistent. Failing any quick time event 7 times will present an option to skip by as if you had passed.
