Had myself quite a bit of fun with this little story. The idea popped in my mind a long time ago, but with all the size stuff I was working on, I never got to make it.
The idea of love between someone very powerful like Tracer and someone normal like Emily is one of the soft kink topics that I like to explore in relation to power balance. Especially, how does one feel when their soulmate can teleport or rewind time, therefore making them demi-gods on Earth? I like to approach this subject from the normal person's perspective.
One of the concept I adore and tried to represent here is when each person allows the other to feel what they're not. In this case, Lena helps Emily overcome her weaknesses while Emily makes Lena feel normal while they're together. This concept can go as far as them feeling envy for what the other have.
In this scenario, Emily wears Tracer's uniform to try and see what it feels like to be the hero - the person everybody looks up to. That sort of curiosity born of the slightest touch of envy is such a great topic to explore :)
