Like a water drop, they were barely felt and even harder to notice. However, what softly crashed on Lena Oxton's nose was much more surprising and intriguing than any drop could ever hope to be.
"Wha-? How even? Hmm..." was all Lena could whisper under her breath as her eyes crossed to find a pair of minuscule women standing on the tip of her nose. As she tried to speak, she suddenly felt another light tap on her bottom lip, follow by a soft thump on her tongue. In this moment of silent surprise and wonder, she could hear a barely audible scream coming from below, quickly becoming quieter until it finally faded away.
"What even are you and what are you doing on my nose?!" was the best way Lena found to finally break the silence. Each word she uttered threatened the precarious balance of the two helpless women stranded on her face. Feeling the minuscule lump hit the roof of her mouth as she spoke, Tracer realized that the thump she felt a few seconds earlier could only be another of the tiny creatures.
Lieutenant Oxton received no answer from the stranded pair, as the one steadily standing on her nose seemed far too busy helping her friend up to reply.
"Are you spies? Aliens? A failed experiment? Come on, you can't just drop on my face and not answer me!" Lena continued, this time asserting her demand for information with more confidence.
"We're none of that!" The puny brunette replied with anger as she desperately tried to raise her friend up. "We're part of the dimensional anomaly, as your colleagues call it! Now, can you help?" the tiny woman continued, her voice becoming more hesitant towards the end as she practically begged for help.
"Escapees from the anomaly? You got me scared for a second! Oh well, in that case..." was all the shrunken women heard before Lena gulped down, sending a heavy vibration through her face that could be felt up her nose. "I thought you guys were a bit more valuable, but we literally got thousands of you. Ah, the way you kick and struggle on the way down will never not be funny." Lena continued to the horror of the shrunken pair now too scared to move a muscle.
"Now, what are we gonna do with you?" Lena asked herself out loud, slightly scrunching her nose...
So you know when I said I wouldn't be able to produce renders for a while? Yeah, I managed to find the courage to render a little something for you all on my laptop. Of course, considering the gap in power between my main rig and my laptop, I can't create scenes as rich as what you got used to since last November. However, I can still pull off some interesting stuff!
Let me know if you've enjoyed this piece! I'm a bit rusty visual and story wise so be kind with me ;)
