“How much did you even pay for all this?” Jess asked, a worried look drawn on her face. There was no way Chloe could see where she was going carrying all those boxes. Emulating her tiny companions scattered about the room, the shrunken woman ducked under the furniture to avoid her owner’s wobbly steps.
“I don’t even remember. A lot, that’s for sure. But who cares? My yearly bonus just dropped so I thought I’d have some fun with it.” Chloe replied out of breath, as she delicately set her expansive purchases on the living room floor. The young executive could feel the strain in her arms as she rose back up looking for Jess. “Where you’d go?” she asked, confused as her eyes scanned the room.
“Those were the last?” Jess asked from under the coffee table. The origin of her voice surprised Chloe who swiftly knelt back down to be at eye level with her shrunken friend.
“Last ones. No more ducking for cover, little one.” she replied with a radiant smile, offering her open hand for the shrunken woman to hop on. Jess quickly walked on the plump flesh of the giant’s palm and settled down in its comforting warmth. Carefully, Chloe rose back up, making sure not to bump her little pet’s head against the tables’ metallic frame. “I’ve got something you’ll actually really like!” Chloe announced as she dropped Jess on the wooden tabletop.
The shrunken woman looked around the different boxes in search of the one she could be interested in. The amount of new things Chloe had just bought on a whim made her head spin.
Jess had never been rich or even well enough to scrap by. She had spent her entire life moving between foster homes and jail, where she was most commonly thrown in for theft. It was her knack for thievery that had gotten her shrunk, when on a cold winter night she tried to rob an innocent looking college student named Chloe, who was the proud owner of a brand new RR-15. Jess’ eyes finally caught the logo that interested her on one of the boxes.
“No fucking way you got a SVR headset?” the shrunken woman asked, remembering the price tag on those gadgets from a late night Internet browsing session with her owner.
“Not just one lil’ miss, I got you one too! MindLink VR here we come!” Chloe exclaimed, feeling her shrinky’s excitement infect her. She turned around to grab a smaller copy of the SVR cardboard box Jess had spotted.
“You really didn’t have to y’know. I mean, we said it’d be cool, sure. But those things cost more than what most people earn in a month.” Jess said with a hint of guilt in her voice. Despite the years, she still couldn’t believe that the girl who she thought had stopped her life right in its tracks could be such a cool human being.
“Don’t you worry about that. I’m not most people.” Chloe replied with a wink. “Wanna unpack yours?” she continued, handing the box to the tiny woman.
Jess got on with her task, ripping away the tape around the tiny box and carefully removing each item one by one. “What else did you even get during that shopping fever of yours?” the shrunken woman asked as she unpacked one of the controllers.
“Hmm, I got a new phone here. Also finally got that replacement part for the mixer so you can expect smoothies to be back on the menu. Oh and I got the new RR-16 too.” Chloe replied, a feeling of awkwardness filling her as she mentioned the last item on the list. Jess could feel it.
“I’ll let you try it on me if you want…” she instantly replied teasingly, hoping to brush away the guilt her owner felt talking about shrink rays around her.
“What? No, no way. Cadco would have to hire you for their QA if I did.” Chloe replied, appreciating her friend’s efforts to dissipate the weight that had fallen upon her mind. Jess smiled at the idea of working for the company that was responsible for changing her life so drastically. The thought didn’t linger for long however, as the tiny woman’s eyes set on her gift - a brand new SVR headset. Very carefully, Jess plunged her hands in the styrofoam bits protecting her new toy to retrieve it.
“Let me get mine so we can try those babies out” Chloe said as she finished unpacking her new RR-16.
Setup was a breeze and the headsets had enough charge in them for a quick test. By fear of stepping on her during their first VR session, Chloe set Jess on a console nearby. The shrunken girl configured her guard mode to avoid getting out of bound and finally put the headset on.
“Okay I’m ready! You’re ready?” Jess asked, pressing the power button on the side of the device.
“Ready!” Chloe replied. However, something felt odd to Jess. Her owner’s voice wasn’t the powerful organ she had come to learn. Instead, she sounded just like any other person did when she was normal size.
“Hmm, Chloe? Can you speak again please?” Jess asked, wanting to confirm her suspicions.
“Yeah, sure. What’s up?” Chloe replied before suddenly realizing what her little pet was up to.
“Oh my God you sound normal!” Jess exclaimed, in awe at the sound of hearing a regular person’s voice like she once did. “Like, you always sound normal. But here you sound even more normal” the tiny woman continued, excited at this discovery.
“Yeah you sound different too! I can actually hear you normally. Is that what you actually sound like? You have a much deeper voice than I thought you did. Wait, can you sing? I’m totally getting you to sing on my bedside table in the morning” Chloe laughed as she toyed with the headset’s settings.
“Pretty sure the headset’s microphone is picking up my voice and feeding it to your headphones. So nothing but bird chirping for you if you want me to be your alarm clock.” Jess replied, fiddling with her headset’s settings as well. “And paired!” the tiny woman announced before stopping in awe at what she was seeing. For the first time since they met, Jess found herself facing Chloe as an equal. They looked at each other in silence for a moment, struck by the surreal situation. The simulation was doing its job, scanning both women’s bodies and faces to place them in a setting indistinguishable from reality. Their avatars looked just as they were in real life, but were missing the headsets sitting on their heads. Finally Chloe broke the silence.
“I’m gonna be honest, it’s a lot more awkward for you to be butt naked when we’re the same size.” the young exec laughed, approaching her pet’s normal size body to take a closer look.
“Wanna buy me tiny clothes with your next bonus?” Jess replied, looking at her owner with the same scrutiny. Chloe's eyes darted back up to Jess’ face at the question.
“No” she replied with a taunting smirk on her lips.
“It was worth a try.” Jess giggled with a bit of nervousness in her voice from her owner’s re-established dominance.
The pair tested their new headsets extensively. For the first time, they were able to have a discussion face to face. Jess found it amusing how different Chloe behaved now that they were both at the same level. After a while, the headset’s view felt normal, as if their brains were being tricked into thinking it was reality.
“So that’s not the only reason I wanted these.” Chloe finally admitted as her headset’s battery indicator turned orange. Jess’ curiosity was picked. “I kinda wanna see how things look from your end.” the young exec continued as if she was revealing her deepest secret to her tiny pet.
“I mean, I can shoot you with the RR if you want.” Jess laughed, surprised by her owner’s desire to see the world from her point of view.
“Very funny, could be tempting, but no. I’ll pass being actually shrunk down. However, if I press this and set it to… 2 inches? I should be able to-” Chloe said before being abruptly interrupted. For Jess, it looked like her owner had suddenly vanished. “Holy shit!” Chloe’s voice arose from the floor. She sounded different, as if she was… Jess looked down at the thought. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Right at her feet, stood her normally giant owner. The woman Jess had looked up to for the past few years was now just a couple inches tall - even smaller than she was in the real world. A sense of bother filled Jess as she looked down towards her owner. After so long being tiny, something in her felt wrong seeing Chloe as this miniscule person down on the floor.
“This is so fucking weird Chloe…” Jess finally let out, genly squatting down above her owner’s tiny frame. From her perspective, Chloe watched in awe as her pet’s colossal body rushed towards her. Shadow engulfed her and all her instincts told her to cower. Still, she reminded herself it was all a simulation and she had nothing to worry about. The details were astonishing. Chloe’s cheeks blushed as she looked up to see Jess’ pussy lips part as she settled down. “Liking the view pervert?” Jess laughed as she caught Chloe in the middle of her reverie.
“I can’t believe this is what I look like to you.” Chloe replied, making her way towards Jess’ arched feet.
“Well, I’m bigger than this so not exactly. But yeah, it can be vertigo-inducing at the beginning.” Jess replied, trying to keep track of her owner’s little promenade around her body. She watched with attention as from her point of view, Chloe disappeared beneath her thigh only to reappear on the other side.
“I get why you call me Goddess when you’re all horny now.” Chloe giggled looking at Jess’ massive butt hanging above her head.
“Hey, I never call you that!” Jess replied feeling her cheeks burn red at the thought of having been heard saying this.
“You’re tiny but I hear you…” Chloe continued her tour around her colossal pet body.
“So is it everything you hoped it would be? Being tiny?” Jess quickly changed the subject as she rose back up to her full height. Chloe stumbled backward as her inner ear failed to keep up with something so large moving at such speed. “Oops, careful there. Gotta close your eyes when a giant steps back up or you’ll puke.” Jess giggled seeing her owner looking up at her on her tiny butt.
“In a different universe, I’m this size and you’re big.” Chloe wondered to herself as she scrutinized every detail of Jess’ gigantic body.
“Me, the perfect girl from a rich family and you the two bit thief? Yeah, I don’t think so. After I shrunk you, I probably would have just…” Jess lifted her barefoot over Chloe, dwarfing the tiny woman in her sole’s shadow. Before she could say anything, Jess’ foot crashed down next to her tiny owner with a loud slap. “...crushed you and moved on with my life.” Jess finished her sentence calmy. Chloe was silent, frozen in the exhilarating fear she had just felt. “But that’s not what happened, and I was lucky it was you rather than someone else.” Jess crouched back down and gently laid out her hand open in a similar way Chloe always did for her. The tiny woman remained stoic for a second, before hopping on just like her pet would. Jess brought the tiny woman to her face. “Had enough of being tiny yet?” she asked gently, seeing the stress she had just inflicted on her owner.
“Let’s stay here a bit longer, it’s nice…” Chloe replied, laying down in Jess’ virtual palm.
And here we are! I've finally managed to break past my creative block and make something. I've had this idea for a while now but between my PC's non-availability and the stress of starting something new, I just pushed it back. I'm a bit rusty but I hope you'll enjoy this artwork and story nonetheless! :)
