Hey everyone, I know its been a while but I wanted to update everyone on whats been going on and whats going to happen. As I'm sure you've likely seen Subscribestar has finally caved and bent their knee to the payment processors like Patreon has. I dare say its even more restrictive then Patreon at this point.
Fortunately however over the past several months and the reason its been so radio silent here is because I have been working with my web dev to build a custom subscription service and gallery website to replace both Patreon and Subscribestar. It is completely decentralized with minimal risk of being pressured by payment processors, while still allowing you to use Paypal to pay for your subscriptions! We additionally are working to implement adult payment processors as well to serve as a backup if it is ever needed to ensure creators will never again have to worry about losing their revenue source!
I and my web-dev have built it to serve as the last bastion for artists and their supporters to have a long lasting and reliable means of income, and finally put an end to the stress of jumping from platform to platform.I am working day and night to integrate the final core pieces into the site in light of Subscribestars betrayal (however inevitable it was) and it will be ready any day now!

And more!Starting off, the website will be slowly rolled out to close friends and mutuals to work out any kinks, then it will be made more broadly accessible. However to help prevent minors from being able to access the site, we are experimenting with a trust based form of age verification via a passphrase system.
How I intend this to work, is access to NSFW content will be granted via the creator or 2 existing members giving that person a passphrase. This will help facilitate a culture of accountability and mutual trust as consequences for allowing a minor to access the site will fall upon both users that granted the password.
This is an unconventional system so we will have to see how it goes, but my hope is that this new site will be able to encourage a tight knit community that is more resistant to the issues that Patreon and Subscribestar faced.
