DESCRIPTION

Introducing the Screenshot To Discord tool!

Send screenshots from OBS directly to your Discord server! This is a great way to funnel viewers to your Discord and build your community.

You can install this on your own stream by downloading the attached package.

What you will need

OBS Studio (This widget is not compatible with Streamlabs Desktop)Streamer.botdiscord-integration zip Package (see attachment at the bottom of this post)

For these instructions, it is assumed that you are already familiar with OBS Studio, Streamer.bot and that you have already installed the required OBS plugins.

How to install

1. Download and extract the discord-integration zip package

2. Install the Streamer.bot action

Open up Streamer.botClick ImportDrag discord-integration.nft into the Import String boxClick Import

3. Update Streamer.bot action

You must provide the Webhook URL for the Discord channel that you want to upload screenshots to.

To get your webhook URL, follow the instructions here under Making A Webhook.

Right click Set argument %webhookURL%...In the Value box, paste your webhook URL

Right click Set Argument %sourceName%...In the Value box, type in the name of the source in OBS Studio that you want to screenshot

4. Setup Streamer.bot Actions

You can now use the brand new [NFT] Discord Integration (Screenshot Upload) with any of the events that Streamer.bot supports.

I recommend using it as a chat command.

Just create a new command and select the [NFT] Discord Integration (Screenshot Upload) as the action.

In Streamer.bot, go into Commands, right click and add a new command.

Set up the command as follows:

5. Test out your command!

You can now type your command into Twitch chat and watch as a screenshot of your source is automatically uploaded to Discord!

BONUS: You can also post plaint text to Discord

A separate Streamer.bot action called [NFT] Discord Integration (Text Post) has also been provided.

Simply use the "!post" command followed by any text you want and it will be posted your Discord channel.

Congratulations! You have now successfully installed the Screenshot To Discord tool!
