Introducing FakeYou Text To Speech!
Fake You is a text to speech service that supports thousands of celebrity and character voices. This code will allow you to use any of Fake You's voices as text to speech for your stream.
You can install this on your own stream by downloading the attached package.
What you will need
Streamer.botfake-you-integration.nft file (see attached)
For these instructions, it is assumed that you are already familiar with Streamer.bot.
How to install
1. Download and extract the fakeyou-integration zip package (attached at the bottom of this post)
2. Install the Streamer.bot action
Open up Streamer.botClick ImportDrag fakeyou-integration.nft into the Import String boxClick Import
Streamer.bot defaults text Commands to disabled on import.Ensure "!fakeyou" and "!voices" are enabled in the Commands tab.
3. Update Streamer.bot action
You must update the Model Token in Streamer.bot. Model tokens are what tells Streamer.bot what voice to use.
To get a list of model tokens, "!voices" in Twitch chat. This will open up a text file with the full list of voices you can use.
To update the model token, click on ActionsRight click Set argument %modelToken% and click EditIn the second text box, enter in the model token
4. Setup Streamer.bot Actions
You can now use the brand new [NFT] Fake You with any of the events that Streamer.bot supports.
By default, a chat command is created. Simple type "!fakeyou" followed by the text that you want, and it will be spoken.
[NFT] Fake You also supports Twitch cheers and subscriptions as well as Streamlabs and StreamElements donations.
5. Test out your command!
You can now type your command into Twitch chat and listen to the Fake You TTS.
Note: Do not abuse the text to speech, as the Fake You API may rate limit you. Also, the code may time out if the Fake You servers are overloaded. If this happens, you will receive a notification in Twitch chat "Unable to generate TTS".
Congratulations! You have now successfully installed the Fake You Text To Speech tool!
