This is the video for the Chrome Industries collab I announced earlier this month. How cute is it? :')
Some of you saw it on my IG, but here's the part I didn't put out there:
Designing for real objects instead of prints has changed how I see my work. And now that I've got the pieces in my hands… The quality is better than I imagined, and I’m not just saying that to sell, I promise. Seeing the print on actual bags got me emotional lol (can take photos later if you want!).
My favorite part was creating the pattern for the inside. It was so much fun and the Chrome team was super open to all my ideas, which is always a dream.
The part I'm proudest of: a portion of the proceeds goes to Casa1 in São Paulo. Casa1 is a community led support center and shelter to the LGBTQIA+ people and they do SUCH incredible work! When Chrome reached out to talk about the collab, what made me say yes was specifically the opportunity to give back to my community. Casa1 almost had to close its doors a while ago, so being able to help in any way I can means a lot to me.
They also made a video of my studio! So nervous on camera lol more on that soon :))
