Howdy! Here’s what’s up:
Moana is Moaning all over the place in panic, but at least she’s Moaning in the right direction. As for me, my ribs are healed, the snow outside is slowly melting, this horrible winter is almost over. Since the last report, I was busy doing Mulan things - like making some artworks for future characters, finishing the layers for existing Kira’s outfits (so that they would work with larger breast sizes/pregnancy), and working more on Kira’s hair.
I can’t say much about the character on the cover of this post, as she is still both WIP and a major plot development that I do not wish to spoil (will be explained in the “Vivarium Briefing” story event in two updates).
Apart from that, this post is mainly about Kira’s hair.
First of all, the poll winner:
Apparently the opposite of straight hair is called “tousled hair”, and not “lesbian hair” as I previously thought. It is honestly disheartening to learn and I’m ashamed that we live in this world, but it is what it is.
“Tousled” hair (previously known as lesbian hair) has won by a large margin, so the straight one will just become a “styling option” at the barber (only shown in dialogue art).
The straight option will become unlocked at the same time as the tousled one in the game itself, with no extra shenanigans.
With that out of the way, let’s move on to the new hair options:
In the last post, I’ve shown you 6 new hair options and asked you to submit more styles that you might fancy. I just got one request basically - the ponytail, but big thank you to everyone who participated!
There will be two more hair options (that are shown in events) in the game, and we’ll have 4 polls in total - 2 for the shape and 2 for the color:
For that reason I made all 8 current versions white, to make things more fair. Once the first “shape” poll ends, I will start the “color” poll, and then repeat the process for the last hairstyle.
So, in case you still want to see some specific hairstyle, it’s not too late to tell me, because there will be one more “hair shape” poll after we pick this one.
I have more to tell and show, but it all is about the updates that come after the pole one, so I’m just gonna sit on that information for a while. It kind of feels wrong to talk in more detail about the upcoming updates without the fabled pole one finally being out.
Once again, I am still accepting any hairstyles suggestions and there’s a poll for the fourth main hairstyle directly below this post.
