Yugioh GX parody - Yaoi/Harem
Jaden’s Perfect WorldJaden has a special power, this draws some attention. He loved Toons and Toon Physics. Yuki even entered a contest suggesting new cards. Pegasus embraced the cards and sent Jaden a package of Toons. Using them Jaden intends to create his perfect world. He’ll need to use all his dueling skills to protect it and those he cares about.
Chapter 1 Perfect Exam
Jaden was running late to the Duel Academy entrance exam. He’s already passed the written exam, now he just had to duel his best and get in. His cards were a mix of Toon cards even getting a special reward from Pegasus himself. He even picked out a few cards he felt would help protect toons as much as possible.
The boy loved cartoons, comics, and manga. Toon Physics were wild and fun and he hoped to incorporate them into his deck. He arrived a bit late but still made it before the registration closed.
Most of the duels had already been completed. Bastion Misawa had shown excellent dueling tactics, and obtained a striking victory, using Ring of Destruction and Vorse Raider.
Another boy, Syrus Truesdale was struggling. He’d end up winning but he kept getting nervous, a mixture of both stage fright and test anxiety. The truth of it was he could have won a lot easier had he simply had more confidence.
Speaking of confidence, another boy was crushing his duel, using powerful Dinosaur monsters. Tyranno Hassleberry. He was determined to crush the competition and earn a post in Obelisk Blue.
Duel Academy Central broke its classes down into three types. Slifer Red at the bottom, Ra Yellow in the middle, and Obelisk Blue at the top. A hierarchy set up by Seto Kaiba himself, showing he was still a bit petty.
What Tyranno didn’t know was that no one in this exam was getting into blue, that the entrance exam only opened the door to Red and Yellow, but you were ranked on performance, high ranking Ra Yellows could get promoted to Obelisk Blue quickly and easily.
In fact many of this year’s Obelisk Blue students were watching from the stands, observing the new crop of duelists.
Syrus was trying to catch his breath. “Looks like you passed.” Jaden said.
“Well, not exactly. Results are determined by your written exam and your skills test.” Syrus had been ranked 119, Bastion had been ranked 1, and Tyranno Hassleberry had been ranked 69. He looked over to see the judges discussing the different applicants.
Bastion was a guaranteed in. “I’ll be lucky to get in.” Syrus sighed.
“Lucky huh?” He grinned and gave Syrus a kiss on the cheek.
“Ehh?!” His face burned red. “W-w-w-w-w-what?!”
“A kiss for good luck.” Jaden winked at him. “I hope you get in.”
Syrus felt his heart flutter. DokiDoki
“Are you an applicant too?” Syrus asked.
“Yep, 110, just need to finish my duel.”
“Umm…” Syrus was concerned as most of the duels had already completed.
Dr. Crowler was ready to wrap things up, when an examiner informed him of Jaden’s arrival. “Oh, what rank is he?”
“One hundred and ten.”
Crowler shook his head. “He hardly has any sense of readiness if he’s coming in at the last minute, no? He must not be taking things seriously enough.” He looked over the boy’s file. “We don’t need another drop out boy.”
“But he did make it to registration on time, to a point, so he does qualify for the exam.”
“Not letting him take it isn’t a good idea, it’ll look bad on Duel Academy Central.”
Crowler was shaking in annoyance. “Late is rude!” He snapped. “We have enough slackers and layabouts at school already, we don’t need more trash cluttering up…” He was cut off by his ring tone.
It was Chancellor Sheppard. “I heard about the late arrival. I trust you won’t be excluding him.”
“But...his test scores...and he was late…” Crowler stuttered. ‘How did he find our about this already?!’
“Our school’s objective is to garner a wide range of talents, to train them into well-rounded duelists. I trust he’ll be given his chance to duel.”
“Of course, of course.” He hung up the phone. “Such sharp ears, that sly old dog!”
Crowler was more of an elitist snob. Seeing the academy for the elite, the pristine, the exceptional, only for the worthy. ‘I’ll teach that drop out boy a lesson.’ He told the other examiners he’d take on the boy’s duel personally. When offered an exam deck he declined, he was gonna use his own deck.
Bastion took his seat in the audience. “You’re one tough customer.” He looked towards the brunette.
“Yes, thank you.”
“You might be the second strongest of all the examinees.” This caught both Bastion and Syrus off guard.
“Examinee Number 110: Jaden Yuki report to the dueling field.” Came over the announcement.
“That’s me, looks like it’s time to play.” He was getting excited.
“Oi, if I’m the second who’ the first?”
Jaden smiled. “That’d be me!” He turned to face Bastion. “I caught your duel, you’ve got skills, but you were very tense and rigid. You gotta learn to be more flexible.”
Syrus was surprised at Jaden’s confidence. He touched his cheek where Yuki had kissed him. “What a funny guy.”
Crowler took to the field, wearing a Duel Vest. He was the director of Practical Application and Dueling Techniques, also the Dorm Advisor for Obelisk Blue. “What is your name boy?”
“Jaden Yuki sir!” Jaden gave a polite bow. “It’s quite the honor for someone of your caliber to be challenging me, I’m sure that means you are expecting a lot out of me huh?” He chuckled.
Crowler twitched in annoyance. ‘Who is this fool…’
The Obelisk Blue students observing couldn’t help but think this was a big deal. Crowler never dueled in these exams.
Decks were loaded and the disk and vest shuffled the cards. “That vest is really cool, can I buy one?”
“All the high achieving students get one of these.” Crower smirked. ‘Of course you have to get into the academy first. So that won’t be a concern for you.’
“Okay then, I’ll do my best to earn one. Let’s have fun!”
Crowler felt a vein throb in his face, twitching with anger.
“Duel!” Exams were held in a Rush Duel format, with 4000 life points.
Turn 1 Jaden/Crowler: 4000
“My Turn!” Jaden draws, getting 6 cards in his hand. Toon Kingdom, Toon World, Draining Shield, Spirit Barrier, Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, and Toon Alligator. ‘Alright let’s save these when we have a little more protection.’
Yuki smiled. ‘This is gonna be so much fun!’
‘What is he smiling about?’ Crowler thought.
“I summon Toon Alligator in attack mode!” He called out the cartoony reptile.
Toon Alligator ATK: 800
Crowler scoffed at this. ‘Is he seriously playing that weak little thing.’
“Next I’ll throw down two face downs and call it a turn.”
Turn 2
“My draw!” Crowler draws, the duel vest sending the card to his hand. “So you use a Toon deck.” It wasn’t a question.
“Yeah?”
“While Toons are the pride of Maximillion Pegasus, a total rookie like you doesn’t know a thing about utilizing their power.”
“Huh?” Toon Alligator glared at Crowler, he got cartoonishly angry. “Easy buddy.”
“You obviously played that weak monster as bait, to lure me into a trap. Truly a joke of a move, allow me to show you how broad the world is!” He activated the Spell Card, Confiscation.
Crowler: 3000
By paring 1000 life points Crowler was able to look into Jaden’s hand choose a card then discard it to the grave yard.
“Truly a naive deck, built by a no good rookie.”
It was Jaden’s turn to get annoyed. ‘Is he really scolding and insulting my deck I ut my heart and soul into building.’ Crowler didn’t know it but Jaden loved Toons so much he entered a contest doing art for various cards as Toons with their effects toonified and enhanced. Pegasus loved them so much he put many of the designs into production.
Jaden was given the designed cards as a reward for his cleverness and love of Toons. The cards were official, and would be released globally next year.
Crowler knew Toon decks relied on Toon World, so he discarded Toon Kingdom from Jaden’s hand. He then set two cards before activating Heavy Storm. A spell that destroyed all Spells and Traps on the field.
The storm ripped across the field, thanks to the hard light holograms it felt like Jaden really was in the eye of the storm. His face downs were destroyed. Crowler got to see what he destroyed, and immediately analyzed Jaden’s plan.
As he saw it, Blue Eyes Toon Dragon was powerful but required two tributes, Jaden’s goal was likely to protect his monster with his traps, summon another monster next turn, then tribute them both to summon his Blue Eyes Toon. ‘A 3000 ATK monster is mighty but only if you can get him out on the field.’ Toon Kingdom would have granted him protections that would have made things very difficult. ‘Toon World costs 1000 Life Points to activate, most serious players don’t even run it as it’s mostly useless. You’ve played yourself with a joke of a deck!’ Crowler thought.
Though Crowler failed to read, if he did, he’d have noticed that Jaden wasn’t running an old Toon deck. He’d have seen that Blue Eyes Toon Dragon was retrained with better effects befitting a Blue Eyes Toon in this modern world. If he had read he might have prepared better for what lurked in Jaden’s deck.
His own cards were destroyed but that was the plan. He summoned the Wicked Lord Tokens. When his Golden Statue of the Wicked Lord traps got destroyed by card effect he was able to summon these tokens.

The more experienced duelists in the audience could tell that these rare and powerful cards wouldn’t be in an exam deck. “Crowler’s using his own deck.” He blew away Jaden’s defenses while also setting up his next move.
“I thought maybe this examinee was something special, but it seems I was mistaken. A shame Crowler doesn’t do this to the rest of the miserable trash.” He was looking forward to seeing Jaden’s dreams get stomped on.
In the stands a girl named Alexis was watching. “I fee sorry for him. Crowler is bullying him with his best cards.” She didn’t care for the man’s elitist attitude, this felt like crossing a line.
Zane disagreed. “He’s putting on a show, at least we’ll be able to see his legendary monster.”
“But against a rookie?”
Zane shook his head. “Some people aren’t meant to become duelists.” Cold as ever.

Crowler’s turn continued and the man tributed the tokens. “Rise Ancient Gear Golem!” Zane called it. The massive beast towered in the dueling arena.
Ancient Gear Golem ATK: 3000
A massive monster with a lot of attack, piercing, and an effect that stopped effects when he attacked. “This is Crowler’s ace monster, the anchor of his deck.” People were already writing Jaden off.
“The iron gates of Duel Academy are closing on him.”
Crowler attacked. “It’s coming, get ready!”
Toon Alligator nodded. Ancient Gear Golem attacked with Ultimate Pound! The Toon monster took the attack head on, not going down without a fight. He was destroyed and sent to the grave.
Tyranno felt his dino energy surge seeing the Toon reptile fight till the bitter end.
Jaden: 1800
“Oh no, Toon Alligator didn’t stand a chance if only Jaden still had his traps.”
“It wouldn’t have mattered, when Ancient Gear Golem attacks, the opponent cannot activate Spells or Traps. To make matters worse, even if Jaden plays defensively next turn Ancient Gear Golem can deal piercing damage.”
“Oh no!” Syrus gasped.
Hassleberry whistled. “Looks like that soldier is getting the drill sergeant treatment, he might be getting crushed.”
Crowler laughed. “Have you lost your fighting spirit?”
Jaden was trembling, people assumed it was out of fear, but Jaden was laughing and smiling. “That was a really clever move. If this is the stuff they teach at Duel Academy Central I’m gonna have so much fun!”
‘He laughed…’
Crowler shook in rage. ‘How dare this boy laugh, he truly thinks nothing of the game. I won’t let a drop out boy like you get through the gates of the prestigious Duel Academy!’
He ended his turn.
Turn 3
‘With a bit of luck I’ll be able to show off a little bit of power of my deck.’ He draws and he gets Funny Dark Rabbit.
“Yes this is perfect!” Crowler raises a brow.
“Oh please, no matter what lame card you play, you don’t stand a chance against my ultimate monster.”
Jaden gained a wicked smirk. “Is that right...you make this monster sound so cool I might just try it for myself. Let the fun begin, I summon Funny Dark Rabbit!”
A purplish-pink rabbit was summoned to the field. He was carrying a shovel. ‘I’ve never seen such a creature before.’
Funny Dark Rabbit ATK 1100
“And here I thought you’d actually summon something strong, but that monster stands no chance against my Golem and if you’d summoned him in defense you’d have at least had another turn.” If Golem attacked Jaden would take 1900 damage and he’d lose the duel.
Suddenly the Toon theme music began to play. “What is this? Where is that noise coming from?”
He looked at Jaden, the boy was dancing with Funny Dark Rabbit moving to the toony beat. A massive book was conjured on Jaden’s side of the field. “You see when Funny Dark Rabbit is summoned, I can place either a Toon Continuous Spell or Field Spell and it to my hand or play it on the field. So I play Toon World the Perfect World!”
“Wait...that card...no it can’t be!” He heard rumors of a new Toon Field Spell in production. ‘But that’s impossible why would this slacker have it.’
The field opened like a pop up book turning the land into a very cartoon picture. “Ah this is more like it!” Jaden stretched. “Thanks Funny Dark Rabbit.” He have the mon a high five.
“So you have a field spell out, doesn’t appear to have helped you any.”
Jaden’s smile never faltered. “You know teach, I’ve met a lot of guys like you, and seen bullies like you in cartoons, comics, and manga. You insulted my monsters, so I’m gonna defeat you this way.” Thanks to the effect of Toon World the Perfect World, Jaden got to add a card from his deck either a Toon or a card that mentions Toon World. “I’ll be adding Comic Hand!”
“Wait no...not that card…” Crowler paled. He knew about that card. An equip spell that snatches an opponent’s monster and makes them a Toon.
“Yes...that…” He activated the spell, and a massive comic hand stretched out and grabbed Crowler’s Golem. It was dragged to Jaden’s side of the field and pulled into the Toon Castle. Smoke erupted from the castle, before the gate stretched open and Toon Ancient Gear Golem came out. “There now much cuter!”
“No my monster!” He was defenseless, so over confident he didn’t play any backrow support to protect him.
“He’s having more fun with us, right?” The toon monster nodded, throwing up a mechanical thumbs up. “Now this is for Toon Alligator.” At his name the mon popped up from the graveyard section of the book, it blew Crowler a raspberry. “Funny Dark Rabbit, go get him!”
The monster dawned boxing gloves and surged at Crowler. “Not the face not the face!” Pow!
Crowler got punched right in the gut.
Crowler: 1900
“Now Toon Ancient Gear Golem, attack! Ultimate Pound!” the toon attacked, he knocked Crowler up high into the air, like ringing a bell at a carnival game. Then the man dropped in defeat.
Crrowler: 0
“Gotcha!” Jaden declared in victory.
“No way...I lost...but how could I lose…”
Most of the Obelisk Blue students were stunned, wide eyed, jaws dropped. “How...could Crowler of lost to him?”
“He’s pretty interesting isn’t he?” Zane didn’t say anything he just walked off.
Bastion was certainly interested. He saw Jaden as a potential rival.
Syrus was stunned.
Jaden was happy for his win, he had ran here and worked up a sweat so he decided to use the Kaiba Land showers.
