We are proud to present the next model made by our team - Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy (Mass Effect), sculpted by Szymon Szpaczek with art direction by Lora Kolori. With this model, the goal was to achieve the classic effect of her face barely visible behind a visor, but without making a visorless version. Yes, I know, some people actually wanted her bare face, but I, for one, didn't want her to lose that touch of mystery hidden behind the helmet, so I was pretty adamant against it. As such, we have finally had the chance to realise an idea I've been meaning to try since 2022 precisely for this character. Instead of making a face piece and then hiding it behind a glass piece, her face is, in fact, carved out of the backside of the visor itself. As such, you can paint the face-shaped back of the visor and have it visible on the front side. We had to test the idea in advance to make sure it's feasible and the results were just as we'd hoped for, which you can see for yourself on pic 3. And if you're wondering about the secret ingredients to try and replicate our efforts, take a look at pic 4. And for those who don't care to play around with clear resin, we have a single-piece head version that you can print instead.
