(Author's Note: Don't expect a deep plot—this little story is simply a fun excuse to showcase Rokan's transformation and the accompanying illustrations)
Tarzan isn't the only wild man raised by apes... Deep within an untouched jungle lived Rokan, a young man who had never known human civilization.
As the troop's unquestioned alpha, Rokan was always fed first. The chimpanzees proudly offered their strongest protector the ripest fruit they could find.
One day, an unfamiliar sound echoed through the jungle. It was as loud as thunder, yet it didn't come from the clouds—it came from deep within the forest. The deafening crash didn't take long to draw Rokan and his troop toward its source. Moments later, an irresistible scent drifted through the trees, richer and more enticing than anything they had ever found in the wild. Following the mysterious aroma, they arrived at a massive metal container that had accidentally fallen from a passing cargo plane, packed to the brim with food unlike anything Rokan had ever tasted.
The rich, calorie-packed food went down surprisingly easily. Every bite seemed to make him hungrier, and Rokan simply kept eating... and eating... and eating.
Before long, he looked down in amazement as his stomach ballooned larger than he had ever seen it. Yet every time he slowed down, another chimp eagerly pushed more food into his mouth. The whole troop seemed determined to keep feeding their leader.
To them, the instinct was simple: more size meant more protection!
