Can you believe it's been almost 1 year since the release of SubZero Volume 1? September 24th, 2024 was the release date and nearly a week later I was doing a book signing back at the Barnes & Noble I used to study + read Webtoons in College. Every time I sign one of these books my heart SWELLS with joy seeing it in person.
Here I wanted to share some of the artwork I made for the backmatter pages. It's lacking all the little notes and text from the volume but I thought it was neat to see the dragon tattoos with more detail (+ the computer lights bring out the colors a bit more than the physical copy)
I'm sure many of you have your own copies but If you don't, I would REALLY appreciate the support on this book via my promo links!
As much as I wish to give more updates on Volume 4 and such, I have to say I'm DISAPPOINTED to share that Onipress has not given me much info on if/when they wish to publish more volumes. Am I sad? Yes. Q_Q I don't think SZ sales performed poorly at all (we even have a FRENCH version) but I'm also not in charge of these decisions.... even things like weather or not SZ gets a hardcover are not in my control.
I'm still holding out hope, especially since Volume 3 has yet to be released in November but I will keep you all updated with what I know. Maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised! ^^
I learned A LOT throughout the making of these books. It's very important to me that the entire series is bound in print eventually so I see a future where EVEN IF more volumes of SZ are not published the traditional way, I'm confident I can print the rest on my own since I own 100% of the IP!!!
