Speaking of Halloween and scary things.... I hope you all enjoyed Episode 241. I've had this scene COOKING in my brain for YEARS now.... and finally I was able to unveil it in the last episode!
I'm not sure if anyone realized it in the comments, but Raizo's back markings are based on the Dragon painting that Clove encounters at the start of Episode 9. The only catch is that the dragons are FLIPPED.
Subconsciously, I just decided to put the blue dragon on top, but when I thought about it more, it makes sense knowing the origins of his character (his Crimson Clan mother being a victim of an Azure clan soldier). One thing I really enjoy about Raizo is that the blue/azure side (most often associated with Clove) is actually shown to be the most vicious, cold and dangerous aspects of his personality. I really though my readers were going to tear me apart for writing 2 mostly Raizo episodes in a row but I feel everyone seems quite excited about the story to come! (Maybe they just like the way his back looks)
