A few weeks ago, Webtoon's team reached out asking me to create some banners for their 100 Coin Treasure Hunt Event. I'm not sure if it's still around but if you're interested in some freebie coins (Check the FREE COINS tab on the Webtoon App) you might consider making a Thingsbook like ME!
FYI, Thingsbook is a kind of collecting app (kindof like a cross between Goodreads/Pinterest/Insta) where you can create collections of things you enjoy. Originally, I made just a list of WT recs but now I want to make a list for everything I can think of (boba shops, books, coffee shops, skincare, etc.)
The reason I'm sharing this post is to share the finished art as well as the TOILING process it took to get there. When I first hear the name "Thingsbook" I thought OBVIOUSLY, Clove will hold a book! It's so WITTY since the story of SubZero is set in a pre-modern era. So I painted her with a book!

AAAANYHOW...Webtoon didn't like the book since it didn't convey the idea that it was an APP we're talking about here. I smashed my head against the wall a couple of times trying to think of a way to convey it was an app (should I draw the logo on the book? Draw a phone on the book instead? Replace the book with a Tablet?)
The final result you see on WT is Clove holding an Iphone (lol). I thought it was quite funny as I was repainting the book/phone but I'm glad things worked out in the end.
Just wanted to share some insight into the behind the scenes of this process!
