And there you have it- Raizo's Dragon Form! One of my original ideas had Raizo as a dragon with 2 heads (a hydra?) but I ultimately decided against it since it's more difficult to draw and I felt it went against his character to be depicted as having 2 separate dragon heads.
I know we technically saw him in some earlier episodes but we never officially got a GOOD LOOK at him! His color is technically some kind of purple/blue but it's supposed to lean towards his natural navy hair color. He also has "dual fangs, dual claws and branching horns" growing on top of each other as a grotesque concept of 2 dragons mashed into one.
When Egg first sent me the colored file back I cackled out loud as I didn't expect his chest to look so beefy and ...handsome??? (it was 4 am, don't expect much of me) but here is the convo I had with Egg. I've been calling him CHAD dragon ever since.
For some lore/in-depth questions:
The main reason Raizo is able to hold both Crimson and Azure Dragon fragments/power-ups is because his lineage derives from both dragon clans. This is different from Clove, who also holds both but cannot Shift as the Crimson fragments are viewed as an impurity in her. It goes deeper than that be we shall find out in 3 eps or so hehhee.
