July 2026 - Which project would you prefer I focus on next?
Good afternoon everyone. And welcome new Patrons after DayZ. Thank you for your kindness.
It's once again time for you to pick the next project.
I do have two possible unrelated projects in the form of a short video-essay and a longer audio-book attempt. But I'll leave those outside of the topical pipeline for now. Whether they'll supersede this I've yet to decide.
As before, I'll put a poll here and a poll on Discord for the Twitch subscribers. Then combine them. Please see the options below:
----------------------
1.) Valheim
Valheim is an open-world adventure/building game with a Viking flavour.
We've had a couple of playthrough of Valheim now. First in a village that we called Knobheim. And then later in a port town we called Knobgard.
Once again, it feels a little weird to put it in the poll again. But to be fair there's soon to be a third playthrough so the footage needs to start sooner or later.
As Valheim features quite a lot of quiet exploration, there were many opportunities for comedic banter between the 8-10 people playing.
No project file exists. Meaning quite substantial preproduction work to find the highlights.
The length of this is a big question mark. It has the potential to balloon. I get the impression that splitting it up into small pieces would do the vibe no favours?
----------------------
2.) Rising Storm Vietnam
Rising Storm Vietnam is a battlefield like played in rounds of combat. Several bullshitteries have been made so far.
Project file is already created. So it would be a case of going through it and bringing it up to date.
I strongly suspect there's more bullshittery content based on the highlights. But of course I'd need to do a dive to check.
Expect more of the same style as parts 1, 2 and 3. Lots of battle banter and friendly fire.
----------------------
3.) VR Rec Room
VR Rec Room is a party-type game played it VR. It isn't one game mode, but many. Such as paintball, Charades, dodgeball, lasertag, etc.
Like Pavlov, we've played quite a number of sessions of it. With 5-6 clanmates.
Expect a variety stream of lots of little sequences of different interesting things.
VR scrubbing for highlights is going to prove difficult. There's no stream deck button. So it would involve a lot of going through it and reviewing manually.
Highlights would involve a lot of piss taking and sabotage of each other during the various mini games.
----------------------
4.) Minecraft
Minecraft is a block based building adventure/sandbox game by Mojang in 2009
We've had a great many Minecraft servers over the years. But it's never reached the bullshittery editing block. It likely involves a lot of banter with clan mates in their own builds. With frequent Birdy/Novie/Nep/Maja gate crashing and talking shit.
No project file exists. But the notes seem fairly extensive.
Expect a highlight set from both normal and VR versions of Minecraft.
----------------------
5.) Human Fall Flat
Human Fall Flat is a physics puzzle game similar to Gang Beasts in its presentation. A bunch of geometry based puzzles you run through with your friends.
About 5-6 game sessions have been played so far, with lots of people. As we charge through the various puzzles and throw each other off ledges etc.
Lots of banter and back and forth sabotage.
Once again, no project file exists. So it'll need to go through preproduction so I can learn more about it.
I'm hoping the tracking isn't too punishing. I supposed it depends how well it can track the hats.
