Happy story post!
This month is the next installment of GRAND THEFT SORCERY, our LA-based spinoff from the Good Intentions series.
Progress on this book is a good stretch farther along than this chapter. In all, I'd say I'm more than two-thirds finished on the rough draft. Posting chapter-by-chapter here is a great way to make me go back and do an extra revision pass on chapters, which I hope will create a more polished product in the end. I'm hoping to release by the end of the year.
On that note: I am also hoping to release something ELSE very soon. Supporters here have seen the first chapters of a story under the working title of "Professional Vacation." It's a light, slice-of-life sci-fi erotica comedy with low stakes and big escapism. The original rough of that story was finished and posted to Literotica under another name a long time ago. Recently, I got thinking I could burn through a final revision and into a full novel release with some focused attention... and I'm real, real close to finishing that. We're looking at a novel between 90k-100k words, so a little longer than the Wandering Monsters books, but also a quicker project to wrap up than a GI or PMF novel.
The end story won't be under that same title. I kinda hate it. :) But I'm close enough to finishing that I figured maybe this month I should keep the Patreon on the GTS series and hold off on the other project until it's done (and also the next chapter wouldn't be as great out of context & after the long break we've had in seeing that story).
Anyway, GTS progresses as well. Evan and Sunday have escaped the cops and their extremely visible stolen car. Time to move on to bigger matters, like magic—and FEELINGS!
