First off, thank you so much to everyone who picked up Great Power and No Responsibilities, and thank you to everyone who still plans it!
Now, a small admission of a goof, an apology, and a fix: at the risk of spoilers, it turns out I made a few editing & revision errors in Chapter Nine. An early reader pointed out the discrepancy (thanks again). To limit the spoilers, Chapter Nine has a "we've met before" moment that wasn't part of the original drafts. I goofed and left a couple lines of "never met" text in after the revisions. If you hit whiplash there, that's why.
The sad truth is I screw up sometimes. I thought I had this all fixed. It went through a professional editor, who also thought it was fixed. I'm pretty sure I hit a version error with this chapter.
So! I have uploaded a corrected version to Amazon just now, and it should be live tomorrow. The error only shows up in a couple lines of text, so it's not a huge revision. I don't think I can get Amazon to "push" an update to books that have already downloaded (it's probably not a significant enough change and the push process is labyrinthine), but I'm pretty sure it will be corrected eventually on your ebook files.
The paperback is currently locked, but as soon as it unlocks on Sunday I'll put in the fix.
I'm not gonna run around everywhere and wave the "I Goofed" flag, but as this Patreon probably holds a majority of my day-one downloaders, I thought this was a good place to speak up.
