Story Time Poll!

DESCRIPTION

Hey all!

OK, it's nearly a new month, which means story time. Lately I've been posting chapters from GRAND THEFT SORCERY, but we've hit a snag—a good snag, but still a snag.

Today, I sent GTS off to my editor. (No, I don't have a release date yet.) That means I've finished the rough, I've made a revision pass, gone back and adjusted all the things I found in said revision pass... and now the story is significantly different from what you have been reading.

Last month we left off with Evan and Sunday mid-heist, with action and tension everywhere. I COULD move on with that, and that'd be the easiest thing to post this month, BUT you'd be reading something that will change when the book comes out. While doing revisions, I cut and lifted half of a scene from the next chapter and relocated it to the beginning of the book, and there's set-ups and payoffs that have now been switched around. However, you were, as I said, mid-heist.

I'm not sure which is the best direction, so I thought I'd ask you all which you prefer.

I can give you the next chapter of GTS as it was originally written. This is the easiest thing for me, because it's already done, and it means I can move directly on to my next big project (Good Intentions 5). Your second option is that I can pause the GTS chapters and work up a new short story from one of my established series (Good Intentions, or Poor Man's Fight, or maybe even a Hot Restart short... probably Good Intentions, but I haven't decided). If you'd prefer that, it'll be a little later than normal. I've been super-focused on GTS, so I'd be starting from scratch, but it'll be my next priority!

Take your pick, and I'll go with whichever polls strongest as of the end of the 31st!
