Steam rises around her in thick billows, swallowing the gleaming chrome and white tile of the high-rise shower until the world dissolves into a soft, monochromatic haze. Only two colors breaking through the miasma of hot water; the vibrant red of her hair, plastered in darkened strands against her skin, and the glint of the golden ring around the base of her horn as it catches a stray beam of moonlight. Water cascading down the generous curves of her body, tracing paths over the swell of her breasts and the ample curve of her hip. She leans her forehead against the cool tile, the rhythmic patter on her back a warm, pleasant substitute for the rain falling outside, her horns emerging from the steam like twin beacons in the night stretching endlessly beyond the window, the city lights blurred into a watercolor wash beneath her solitary vigil.
I wanted to try out more of a monochrome scene (with some obvious exceptions), and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
