Development continues as usual. Got some stuff to show off this week!
This week, I've worked on some more storytelling tools for Visual Novels, QoL updates for the Visual Novel Editor & Scenario Editor and some UI updates for the scenario UI. Let's get to it!
Reworked Scenario UI
The Scenario UI now looks a lot more polished! I'm not sure whether I'll keep iterating or keep it as is, regardless of what ends up happening, I can confidently say it looks a lot better now!
This is how it was before. You may also have noticed that the tile icons have also changed, along with the icons on the top... I'd like to thank Dale9G for their work on the new tile icons!
(The plants are gone too... They look nice as decor in the lobby, but totally unrelated in the scenario map. It's time to remove placeholders!)
New Storytelling Tools
Some effects has been added for action moments in Visual Novels, complete with a close up node and fancy background effects such as shakes, screen flashes and background scrolling effects.
Improved Node Editor QoL
I added collapsible nodes, node editor viewport restoration (continuing where you left off) and shortcuts! Improving the overall comfort of using the node editors.
