260ish images
The character isn't one I know. I worked from visual reference and a general sense of the archetype, shy tomboy type, and did my best with that. Whether I actually made something that looks the part, I genuinely don't know. Some of it I'm happy with.
This one took longer than usual. I hit a point where I was making images to hit a number I set for myself, not because I actually wanted to make them, and that stops motivating pretty fast. Took some time to remember why I started doing this. Used that time to expand the portfolio instead, more poses, broader range, which felt like the right call even if it pushed the schedule out. I think I finally fixed that dumb double outline ghosting problem though. I did it by just giving up and going back to the low tech image to image method.
Paid my traffic citation today. Had to make three phone calls just to be directed to an email, just to have to wait for a reply to get a link to pay it online, because paying online was disabled by default. Didn't help that the web link on the official documents mailed to me returned a 404. Turned on my phone for the first time in three days, only message I had was my supervisor warning me to do better at work for doing the exact same thing everyone does. I never really felt anything about simply not choosing to visit my family two states away, but suddenly now that I can't even afford the gas to do it, it hurts. Funny how emotions only seem to kick in when you're already down. I'm sure good things happened this week too, I just can't think of any.
