DESCRIPTION
I'm working on a Sketchup maquette for the Lycaeum, the huge city on struts that hangs over the Cleft of Five Worlds. I've wanted to do this one for a long time, but I've been letting it simmer.
City scapes are exhausting—not only because of the amount of detail and variety they require, but also the effort involved in getting the perspective right across it all. Jumbles of rocks in caverns are easy by comparison!
I'm also pondering how to treat this properly given the two-page format. My guess is that I'll do an overview, something a bit zoomed out like City of the Carreg and then zoom into particular bits later.
