DESCRIPTION

Before You Drive

Check the conditions: Be aware of tide times to avoid being stranded.

Lower tire pressure: Reduce tire pressure to increase the tire's footprint, which provides better traction and flotation in the sand.

Turn off electronics: Disable traction control and stability control, as they will interfere with your vehicle's ability to maintain momentum in sand.

Select a low gear: Engage a low-range (4WD) if your vehicle has one and select a low gear to give the engine more torque and prevent wheel spin.
