I'm really proud of this exclusive hour-long video which discusses the dangers of Psychology-Based game design, specifically this behavioral consensus seeking model that is really prevalent right now. I discuss at length what forms of psychology I think are useful to the artist (like exploration of the Subconcious) but why it's very important to remember that you are trying express your vision and elevate your players, not simply appease them.
I also take a look at a video about game balance that has been discussed a lot lately and give my thoughts on why leading with behavioral principals like loss aversion has landed us where we are.
