① Today’s Sketches
I really like how her clothes are open, revealing her breasts…
When the shape of her breasts changes depending on her arms or clothing, they look so soft—it’s really fun to draw.
② I Read a Novel
I read a book called How to Raise a Gentle Grim Reaper.
It’s about a grim reaper who takes the form of a dog and helps people let go of their unresolved regrets.
The writing was detailed, very easy to read, and interesting.
An editor at Chainsaw Man once said, “There are plenty of manga artists who read a lot of manga, but few who read novels. If you can draw inspiration from novels, you might be able to create more interesting manga.”
So, I’m going to read novels too, hoping to gain some new insights.
③ Alarm Clock
Since I’m a manga artist (probably), I took advantage of the freedom from strict schedules and skipped setting an alarm clock.
I was able to wake up naturally, which allowed me to concentrate on my work more than usual.
