Zone Excavation [44x33]

Hi everyone,

Occasionally, bases and settlements have to be abandoned for various reasons. Sometimes, the departure has been so urgent that valuable supplies, technology or raw materials may have been left behind. Often these sites have been quickly looted by scavengers, but if you know where to look, there may still be treasures hidden in them. Or below them.

This map shows a deserted base in the Martian Quarantine Zone. In the shelter of one of the settlement buildings, an operation is underway to dig a hole into a cache of weapons beneath the base, the treasures of which are fetching good money on the black market. (There is also a version of the map without excavations for other scenarios. )

This map was created in collaboration with Posthuman Studios as part of the updated Mind the WMD Eclipse Phase scenario.
