Viewer discretion is advised.----------------------------The Story Behind the Series:Angels are sentient creatures which are native to Celestia. They cannot reproduce, and were created directly out of Celestial matter by the Divines. Though they greatly outnumber the Divines and the blessed (deceased human souls that have been permitted into Celestia), they do not have any say in how Celestia is operated, nor do they hold any real political or social power. They are the beings in charge of making sure Celestia and all its Domains operate continually without error -- effectively treated as insignificant eternal servants not just of Celestia, but personal servants of the blessed and the Divines as well. Angels have been limited by the Divines so that they are only granted the ability to use the specific magic or special abilities that are necessary to carry out their assigned task, and nothing more. The Divines have always pushed the narrative that all angels are unquestioning automatons that do what they are told without a second thought, and have encouraged the blessed to ignore or outright deny the idea of angel autonomy. But in actuality and as inconvenient as it may be for the Divines, angels do indeed have minds, preferences, personalities, and ideas of their own. Many angels are simply skilled at hiding their true selves until it is safe for them to be authentic. Despite this, most still choose to fulfill their duties without a question or a misstep...but those caught disobeying angelic law are banished into Hell permanently, becoming a "fallen angel".When an angel falls, they lose access to any magical abilities or powers they had while in Celestia. Their pure white wings turn a muddied gray or brown, their hair turns ashier, and their halo becomes permanently cracked as a visible mark of their failure. Despite the manipulation that the Divines and the blessed use to keep their angels in line, in truth, Hell is usually a much easier and friendlier place for an angel to be. Once in Hell, a fallen angel has no further obligations and is permitted to settle wherever they like and enjoy the freedom that Hell offers.Often, angels fall because they become fascinated with something carnal, or "Earthly", as the Divines would say. It's not uncommon to see fallen angels in Hell who engage in what some may perceive as "sinful" behavior, experimenting with the unbridled privileges that Hell has to offer...privileges that would never be available to angels in Celestia. In this series, we'll watch a recent fallen angel named Cael'el [KALE-el] fall feathers over feet for Brot, an affable and hungry demon from Oris (the 3rd Circle of Hell, home to the sin of gluttony). Cael'el has discovered the joy and excitement of fattening up his ravenous counterpart...and Brot, well...like his creator Prince Beelzebub, he just enjoys stuffing himself to the brim and steadily filling up the entire couch (and later, maybe the whole room).Cael'el has been curious just how big and fat he can get his lovable hog, but I've got a feeling that an aim like that will probably accrue some unintended consequences... ~----------------------------(c) Hansel Fleischer, 2026.
