The bonus art for May 2026 is...an original full-color honey inflation!
Meet Hell's own version of the humble honeybee, with a devious twist...
Though they look and behave similarly to Earth's bees or wasps, gloozings are a creature all their own and have been native to the swamps of Oris (Hell's 3rd Circle) since their creation. Rather than produce honey themselves, gloozings instead inject venom into a larger host that causes the host's body to begin rapidly producing a very viscous honey for them (which swells the host up huge and full in the process). Both gloozing venom as well as gloozing honey were used as important ingredients in the creation of the Nectar of Gula (seen used to fatten victims in a few of my comics).
There are many reasons that gloozing venom and honey are farmed and collected. This includes recreational purposes, as some find the inflation process euphoric and desirable. Once a host is full, they can be drained - either slowly or more expediently - by an experienced technician and the honey can be safely harvested and stored. It's extremely sweet and very rich and fattening, so it works as both an excellent ingredient in cooking as well as a topping or drizzle for decedent desserts and savory dishes.
