Dear diary,
I’m finishing chapter 2 of "Love, Lies and Petticoats", but it won’t be released until the May 8, as you know. It’s about Bertrán and his new life as a married man, and it has laughter and drama.
But let’s talk about the main thing: the new project. I still have a lot of things to define, but I’m already filling up a notebook with ideas and phrases that the characters will pronounce. And that’s the most important thing, because those phrases are the ones that draw the characters in my head. I have some very good ones (I do!!!), and that makes that others come out more easily. I also have the first chapter very clear, and I think it’s going to be good.
In the picture above you can see the protagonist, but that’s not her final design. The sketch only represents her essence: it’s a girl whose main feature is that she is a bigmouth and is always messing things up for that reason, even when she tries so hard not to. What will her name and real appearance be? Too soon for that. New projects need time to grow.

Estoy acabando el capítulo 2 de “Love, Lies and Petticoats”, pero no saldrá publicado hasta el día ocho de mayo, como ya sabéis. Va sobre Bertrán y su nueva vida como hombre casado, y tiene risas y drama.
Pero hablemos de lo importante: el proyecto nuevo. Me faltan muchas cosas por definir, pero ya estoy llenando un cuaderno de ideas y frases que los personajes van a pronunciar. Y eso es lo más importante, porque esas frases son las que van dibujando a los personajes en mi cabeza. Tengo algunas muy buenas (¡de verdad que sí!), y eso hace que surjan otras más fácilmente. También tengo muy claro el primer capítulo, y creo que va a estar muy bien.
En el dibujo de arriba podéis ver a la protagonista, pero ese no es su diseño definitivo. El boceto que he hecho sólo representa su esencia: es una chica cuya principal característica es que es una bocazas y siempre está metiendo la pata por más que intenta evitarlo. ¿Cuál será su nombre, cuál será su apariencia real? Es pronto para eso. Hay que darles tiempo a los nuevos proyectos para que vayan creciendo.
