Ruby felt herself regain consciousness before she opened her eyes. She groaned as the feeling of her weight gradually came into focus. She idly shifted her bulk and took in the sensation of cold tile under her back fat and butt. It felt like the tile pressed to bare skin, though. ‘Did my clothes catch on something?’ She thought. Her old outfit had struggled with her enlarged form.
“Ow…” Ruby finally opened her eyes only to be blinded by harsh fluorescent lights. She lifted a flabby arm to cover her eyes and felt her pillowy upper arm squish against her bust. “I need to get up…my chest is too heavy,” Ruby murmured. Her breasts were each larger than her head. That weight was too much to rest flat on her chest.
“Hupp…huuuupp!” Ruby tried to roll onto her side. Her waistline was just slightly wider than half her height. That made it nearly impossible to just roll over. She only accomplished it when her thighs crossed, and her belly flopped onto the floor.
This posture revealed more of her shape and figure. The food in the previous area had grievously ravaged her body. Each of her thighs was broader than her former waistline. Each of her butt cheeks was like a sofa cushion in width, while being twice as thick. Her belly was a plush mass of blubber and rolls. Truly, most of Ruby’s bodies had rolls packed or stacked somewhere.
Ruby finally got her eyes opened and saw the rest of her team splayed across the floor. Weiss was the closest. Ruby had to blink a few times to make sure she wasn’t seeing things…but Weiss was in a swimsuit. It was a big one-piece, super cute, white and light blue. Ruby had seen this type before… ‘A swim dress?’ She thought. It had straps that dipped into a subtle V-shape that showed off Weiss’s…very comparatively flat chest. The white fabric stretched over her perfectly rounded belly, one as large and almost as round as a yoga ball. The bottom of the swimsuit was frilly like a dress and covered the top of perfectly smooth thighs.
“That’s really cute, actually…” Ruby looked down and realized she was also in a swimsuit. Hers was a two-piece. The top was styled like a sports bra, and Ruby could feel the X-shaped straps across her back fat. “And that’s why I feel so much skin-on-tile…at least it fits.”
Ruby rolled onto her belly. The mass of fat made the position awkward. Even as fat pressed against the floor, her butt was propped slightly above her head. Her breasts were also squished under her, with some fat pressing against her extra chin. She pressed both palms to the floor and tried to lift herself up to pathetic results.
The change of angle allowed a better view of Yang and Blake, though.
Blake wore a black one-piece similar to Weiss’s but without the frilly bits and a much deeper V-neck. That let a more generous chest show itself off. She was still fatter than Ruby and Weiss, but her belly was comparatively constrained and rounded. Where Blake truly showed off was her hips. They were broad and curving, forming hefty lumps at their furthest curves. The standard cut of the swimsuit meant all this luscious fat was shown off.
It probably showed off too much on her backside. Blake’s butt was the fattest of the group, and no swimsuit in all of creation could fully cover her butt. Her shorts had hardly stretched over half the cheeks. Ruby planned to be polite and not mention it.
Ruby didn’t think she could be as polite with Yang. That’s because Yang was in a vibrant orange micro bikini. Her old top had already been on the edge of obscene, but the micro bikini could hardly hold her breasts back. Yang boasted immense, humongous, gargantuan honkers! Maybe 10% of each boob was covered in the bikini top. Even then, fat bulged around the edges and spaghetti straps. Her stomach was flabby like Ruby’s. Similarly, her thighs were coated in rolls, but her butt was the boxiest of the group. Even then, her bikini bottom was more like a thong than swimwear.
“Girls? You ok?” Ruby asked as she tried again to push herself up. This attempt bore fruit as she got one leg under her. A little push and twist got her seated upright. “Hey, wake up! Uh…oh look! I’m gonna mix up a bunch of dust to make pretty colors!”
“Ruby, don’t you dare!” Weiss shrieked and impressively sat up in one go. She looked around frantically, only to slow. She noticed the difference in her surroundings but still recognized that it wasn’t right. This wasn’t her dorm room, so she was still in the strange labyrinth. She looked down at her current outfit and blushed. The white fabric around her belly reminded her of the base of a snowman. “This is a lovely revelation to awaken to.”
“And your voice is a lovely thing to wake up to,” Blake grumbled. She rose with the grace of a grumpy cat. Her smaller upper body allowed her to sit upright with the most ease, but she had no idea how she’d stand. It seemed she had nothing else to say, so she waited in silence.
Yang was the last to get up. Like Ruby, she had to shift to her side first. Her breasts were too heavy to do anything like a sit-up. Once upright, Yang looked down at her boobs and sighed. “Might as well have woken up naked.” She grunted and got to her feet. “Alrighty, girls, up and at 'em!”
Yang was able to pull each of the girls to their feet with ease. Her arms might be encased in bulbous flab, but they still had all their previous muscle… somewhere.
The girls took a moment to fully absorb their surroundings. White tiles covered the floors and walls, replacing the yellow carpet and wallpaper of the previous area. The ceilings were high like a cathedral, and large windows allowed light to fill the space. There was no visual through these, though. Only an overwhelming white void. It was unclear whether this was due to the brightness or to nothing existing beyond the panes.
The area wasn’t quiet. Flowing water ran constantly in the background. The origin was a lazy river to the group’s left. This originated from the wall, but it seemed there was a tunnel beneath the water’s surface. Either way, the girls wrote it off as an inaccessible path. The water flowed down a bend that continued into another room. To the group’s right were some doors that led to steam-filled rooms.
Between the girls and those rooms were picnic tables loaded with food. The girls started to panic and shy away from the tables by instinct. They were already so obese, and another binge would make it nearly impossible to escape this place.
However…the food didn’t draw them in like before. There was no uncontrollable urge to feast. The food simply smelled good. There was no spectral alluringness to it.
“Maybe this space doesn’t have cursed food?” Ruby asked aloud before her stomach growled. Her cheeks turned bright pink, and she chuckled nervously. “But it sure smells nice. Um…eheh.” She waddled away from the table, hoping her hunger would subside.
Weiss huffed. “Honestly, you’re hopeless. You see a little snack and-” Weiss froze as her stomach growled louder than Ruby’s. Her entire face turned crimson, but the color was especially bright in her cheeks and ears.
“The food might not control us, but it can still tempt us.” Blake sighed and grabbed a roll of her belly. She squeezed the malleable fat and sighed harder. She wanted to eat something just to sate her hunger. The constant gnawing in her belly made everything more stressful. “Maybe just a bite?” She mused, half serious.
“Yeah.” Yang waddled to the table and grabbed a burger. “I’ll test it. If I go crazy, then drag me to the pool.” Yang looked at the others. They were nervous and confused. “Look, we’re big girls now. We need the energy to move our fat asses. Can you say you’d be able to fight that freaky mascot if it showed up right now?”
“I get it, but…” Ruby started.
Yang smacked her belly hard. The mass wobbled, and jiggles carried into her chest. “If it catches us, then it’s fattening us into blobs. I’d rather get that big by my own hand!” She huffed, ignoring the pink outline of her palm on her stomach. She took a bite of the burger and chewed thoroughly. “Hmm…not as good as earlier, but it’s not bad.” She took another bite.
That was all the convincing it took. The other girls waddled over, standing hip to hip.
Ruby was next to Yang and looked at her sister before she grabbed a hot dog. It was a plump sausage in a fluffy bun. The top was loaded with condiments, too. Ruby took a small bite, but the satisfaction it brought convinced her to bite off more. “I wonder if the food earlier was the mascot’s doing? Or…ugh, I don’t want to think about it.” She sighed and took another bite.
Weiss scowled at the lack of utensils. The table was covered with BBQ essentials, so she was forced to food out with her hands alone. She sniffed at a BBQ chicken leg before her belly roared in anticipation. “Think of the apple.” She murmured and nibbled at the chicken. Her upbringing had plenty of etiquette training. She often bragged about how she could eat an apple without opening her mouth too wide. Thus, she relied on that to eat the chicken off the bone without staining her snow white cheeks.
Blake spotted fried shrimp and wasted no time eating them. She couldn’t see any fish, so this was a close second. She grabbed the shrimp so the tails were clutched between her knuckles. That left the deliciously fried bodies easy to bite into. Then, she was free to toss the tails aside and scoop up more shrimp. “I wasn’t hungry at all when we jumped down the hole. I don’t remember feeling hungry when I woke up.” She chewed through a few more shrimp. “So, maybe this area makes us hungry faster?”
There was no way to confirm this at the moment. The girls were too hungry to think much. Thankfully, the food wasn’t as powerful as earlier. There was quick evidence of gaining weight, but it was more subtle. The curves of their bellies were more pronounced, their hips and chests rolled a little further, and their swimsuits fit more snugly.
This also came with a satiated feeling. The food they ate actually filled their stomachs. It didn’t feel like a ravenous, endless hunger. Although that might be more dangerous…
“I’m already liking this place more than the hallways,” Yang said as she patted her stomach. It wobbled a little less than earlier, clearly stuffed with burgers. ‘Maybe I have some more room. It’d be a shame to ONLY eat burgers.’
Ruby nodded. “I don’t want to get too comfy, but this place isn’t as creepy.” She looked around. “Still strange but…” She trailed off as she looked at a nearby pillar. The group followed her gaze and noticed a Polaroid picture.
Ruby waddled over to it, snagging a few snacks for the short trip. The picture became clearer the closer she got. “It’s Coco and Velvet!” She exclaimed.
The rest of the team waddled hastily over (after grabbing some snacks of their own). The picture indeed showed Coco and Velvet. To little surprise, the two were much fatter than when Team RWBY last saw them, but Coco seemed unbothered as she posed for the picture. Velvet was squished in the frame beside her, and her face showed she was quite nervous.
Both looked to be the same size, a size quite similar to the average weight amongst team RWBY. However, Velvet had a much rounder body, while Coco boasted rolls and folds. Velvet had a more conservative bikini that cupped breasts nearly twice the size of her head, but Coco had thin strings that sank into supple flesh with minuscule triangles that struggled to hold her bust back.
Each boasted a round face with thick cheeks and extra chins, but Velvet’s chins melded more closely with her neck. Meanwhile, Coco had more of a bulbous knob of a chin. It also seemed that Coco’s cheeks had a perkier roundness to them. Neither boasted flabby jowls, but it was clear Coco had cheeks like freshly rolled balls of dough. Maybe it was because of how she smiled in the picture?
Their shoulders were thick and broad and sloped into puffy upper arms. Velvet’s seemed to bulge more with excess sagging on their underside. Coco’s maintained a condensed, almost cylindrical shape before they tucked at her elbows. Even her forearms remained more slender than Velvet’s.
Their bellies were where the most clear differences arose. Not in size, but certainly in shape. Both had thick slabs of love handles that rested upon their broadened hips, and both bellies rolled in front of their owners to splay across ample thighs. Wearing bikinis also meant all this smooth, pale skin was exposed. Full feet of flesh and flab were perfectly captured in the photograph.
Velvet’s belly was perfectly smooth. The curves were broad across the top and front and curved elegantly at the bottom and sides. Even the photograph showed that this belly had to be soft. Marshmallows or the plushest of stuffed animals wouldn’t hold a candle to it. It would surely be warm, too. A tentative touch would quickly deepen to heavy, lustful groping. How could one not? Velvet was sure to be timid and bashful, but still unwilling to push teasing hands away…
Coco’s gut boasted a mighty crease through the middle. This divided her midsection with a domed sphere nestled upon a flabby apron. Coco’s upper belly partially supported her breasts, though pushed them off to the side slightly. It was as perky as it was round, clearly soft but certainly supple and bouncy, too. It was like finely sculpted art, admirable in its flawlessness. That wasn’t to say the flabby roll beneath was any less spectacular. The place where upper and lower belly creased was like a tender kiss between each. A delicate rift or canyon that beckoned one to trace with their finger. There, one could feel the different textures envelop their phalange. However, this flabby lower belly seemed to beckon one to grab it. To roughly seize it with both hands and lament how their hands couldn’t grasp more! The texture was undoubtedly soft, eager to bulge between fingers and fold around palms. It was something to grasp and squeeze like a lifeline. Something one would hold as if they’d never be able to again. A one-time experience that must be catalogued away for eternity.
Ruby shook her head. She swallowed nervously and realized how parched she was. Her heart pounded in her chest, but not from exhaustion. ‘I’m even swearing…’ She thought and tried to chuckle nervously.
Yes, Coco and Velvet were beauties, but Ruby had NEVER thought of them like that. She fanned herself until she realized her elbow nudged and jiggled Weiss. Weiss, however, remained oblivious. She had also been enthralled by the photo.
Ruby turned the photo downward, so no one could stare at it. Seconds passed before they realized.
“Ruby?” Yang asked. “Something wrong?” She placed a sweaty hand on her sister and jostled her. It was clear she had been just as enamored with the photo. “Earth to Ruby.”
“I think we should be careful with photos now.” Ruby groaned and shook free of the lingering mental fog. “But one more look!”
Ruby flipped the photo quickly. Her eyes scanned for clues. “I can’t see their lower halves, except for a little hip here.” She poked the bottom corner of the photo.
“There,” Blake had to nudge past Yang to point at the photo. It looked like Velvet pointed into the background. The group followed the gaze before they saw the lazy river. “Does that mean they planned to follow the river?”
Weiss broke free from the group and waddled toward the river. She reached out for a snack as she passed the table before she dipped a toe into the water. “It feels cool enough. Not cold, but certainly enough to refresh ourselves. Come along, and keep an eye out for more photos.” She played it cool, but she was soaked in an anticipated sweat. ‘Goodness, those two got large…and they wear those curves…well.’
Weiss jumped into the water. The shock was enough to purge indecent thoughts from her.
The rest of the team followed.
Relief from their minds was one thing, but a greater boon was how light they felt in the water. The water supported their weight, and the river’s current gently pushed them along. They simply had to lift their feet, and they floated along.
“I still would have liked a floatie of sorts.” Weiss sighed as she spread her arms out to remain balanced.
“Like one of those you can lie on or a tube?” Blake asked. She, too, would have liked something to help her float. Every move she made to balance herself caused her to jiggle. Her belly rippled beneath the water, which carried into her bust and hips. It all made her feel more gelatinous and obese…
Yang chuckled, uncaring of how her chest heaved. “We wouldn’t fit in either! Really, would your double-wide butts balance on the loungers? Could you squeeze a tube around those guts? Heh, even our arms are too big for water wings. Y’know, like the ones Ruby used to wear-”
Ruby promptly splashed Yang. Her cheeks had turned bright pink as she tried to stop Yang from embarrassing her. “Ehehe, she’s kidding! Never needed water wings ever!” Her nervous laughter gave her away. Still, she pushed Yang underwater for a second. Just in case her sister wanted to spill more past secrets.
Thus, team RWBY began to leisurely follow the lazy river. Sometimes they would waddle along with the current, sometimes they would lift their feet and bob at the surface. Either way, their bodies continued to jiggle.
Blake could feel her hips drag and swing through the water. Most of her bulk was beneath the surface, so she could feel much more of the current push against her. She simply sighed and put up with it silently. ‘I’m much more of a lounge by the water’s edge person…as opposed to swimming.’
Weiss could read those words from Blake’s expression. “Oh come now, you could at least fill the silence.” She huffed and waddled beside Blake. Their hips occasionally clashed, jiggling both of them. Weiss didn’t acknowledge it, though. “The one solace is this area gave us swimsuits, cute ones at that.” She smiled, which in turn made Blake grin.
It was a fair point. What would they have done in their ill-fitting clothes from before?
‘Probably swim naked.’ Ruby thought. ‘Or dress down to our underwear. Hardly a difference.’ She mused and lifted her feet. She let her body slip onto its back and float alongside Yang. “It’s nice to not feel so heavy. Not a fan of walking these days.”
“You said it,” Yang replied and glanced down. “Though I’ve still got some issues.” Her breasts bounced with each step, hardly supported by her bikini top. The heavy globes were just as heavy as earlier and wobbled back and forth across her chest. They even managed to clip her plump upper arms. “I would float on my back like you, but I’d either flash everyone or suffocate myself.”
“You’re probably too top-heavy. You’d dunk your head.” Ruby contributed.
“Thanks, sis.” Yang reached out and pushed one finger against Ruby’s forehead.
She then pushed her sister’s head under.
Weiss and Blake didn’t look back, but they heard Ruby’s sputtering and protests, as well as felt the water splash their backs.
The scenery around the group constantly changed. The lazy river would wind a path through a room before entering another. Some rooms were sparse, some housed other pools of various sizes. There were some as large or larger than olympic sized pools, some so small they were hardly a puddle. Some rooms had doors that led elsewhere…but no one was eager to explore.
“Coco and Velvet are…or were here,” Ruby said. “They would have left a sign if they went through those places. Let’s keep going.”
The march continued. Not for long, though.
Team RWBY soon began to hear their stomachs growl over the sloshing of water. An intense gnawing hunger assailed them in the time it took to cross one room. There was no way to ignore it. They had to stop and eat something.
Then, all too conveniently, the next bend in the pool was a snack bar. It was the type with stools just above the water’s surface, much like poolside bars at resorts. The girls silently waded over and took their seats.
Each of them required two stools to hold their bulk…
“This place is creepy.” Ruby sighed and poked a tall cookies and cream milkshake. She grabbed the chilled glass and began to sip away. The relief was instant to her howling belly. The cool treat sated her more than any dessert should, but her gut would groan again the second she stopped sipping.
Blake munched on beer-battered fish with tartar sauce and fried shrimp. “I don’t think new areas are created right before we enter them. It would make things so random that there’s no chance we’d ever find someone or retrace their path.” Blake reasoned before she had to continue eating. “The food…maybe. Though we saw that mascot, and it seems like it put food out for us. Maybe this place thinks ahead?”
“I don’t want to imagine this place has a mind of its own,” Weiss said as she picked through a quiche. It was much too loaded with cheese for her preference, but her stomach demanded something.
Yang would have offered her insights, but she was busy eating another burger. It was impossible to resist the triple beef, bacon, and cheese squished between a fluffy bun. She worked her jaw through the layers of greasy meat, noisily slurping up the cheese. She didn’t care how the grease ran over her chins like a fountain or dripped onto her breasts below. Her stomach was happy, she was happy.
Conversation quickly died out as the girls focused on eating. With time, their stomachs began to remain quieted for longer, but they also swelled rounder. More fat bulged toward the sides and rolled over their thighs past their knees. It was a steady swell to the already thick layers of flesh, but there was no fighting it. If they tried to resist, their bellies would never cease. They’d likely run out of energy within an hour, too.
This strange space had rules to play by, but it wasn’t yet determined if escape was impossible. If the girls played along, then maybe the path ahead would open up?
Or they could simply delude themselves and struggle until their bodies grew too heavy. They could eat to the point they were too fat to stand, piling their lard higher and higher. They could end up like Nora, perhaps even with the mascot catching up with them.
Their binge continued until the snack bar was cleared. It was a meal roughly the same size as earlier, and they cleared it without issue. It was like the area had altered the space of their stomachs, turning them into bottomless pits that still demanded satiation…
Ruby reached for a napkin. She lifted it and only realized after she had wiped her face that there was a photo beneath it. Her tubby fingers lifted it to reveal Coco.
Coco was on the other side of the bar, leaning against it. One hand pulled her sunglasses down enough to reveal her winking at the camera. Her soft face was shaped by a flirtatious smirk that made Ruby’s heart flutter.
Coco’s chest hung in front of her, lightly supported by the top of her belly. The rest of her gut was squished against the table. Doughy fat morphed across the flat surface, being pressed under the rest of Coco’s weight.
Behind Coco, her butt visibly squished against the cabinets. Ruby could see how much wider Coco was, how her hips rolled with ample fat until she was half as wide as she was tall. The curves of her rump squished against the cabinets, pushing bottles back on their shelves. It was also apparent that Coco’s bikini bottom hardly covered anything at all.
Only after extensively staring did Ruby realize something. Velvet was in the reflection of Coco’s sunglasses, and she pointed off to the side. Ruby turned her head and saw that the area outside the lazy river was a little expansive. Her team had seemingly tunnel visioned on the snack bar. She wiggled off her barstool and over to some stairs.
Ruby’s weight immediately revealed itself as she tried to drag herself up the steps. Each step took her further out of the water, and her weight tried to drag her back more and more. “Come on, here we go.” She grumbled as she fully pulled herself out of the water. “I need to see what Velvet is trying to tell us about.”
Across the ground were more scattered photographs, but they were simply shameless candids of Velvet from different angles. Some focused on her butt, others her side folds, and one entirely on her breasts. ‘Coco must have gotten the camera for these.’ Ruby sighed and continued.
Ahead were three pillars. That divided a series of hallways. Each had a photo of Velvet on it. The first showed her with a bottle of water and a thumbs-up. At the base of the pillar were water bottles. They were simple plastic bottles denoting zero-calorie, unflavored water.
“Hydrating is important.” Ruby struggled to lean over. She had to widen her stance and allow her belly to slide over her thighs before her fingers latched onto a bottle. The issues didn’t cease there as she had to drag her gut back up, then fight to get her arms in front of her chest to open the bottle. Even after that, she had to tussle with the side of her boob to hoist the bottle to her lips and drink. The water was cool and refreshing. Ruby felt relieved to have something not soaked in grease or packed with sugar.
The next pillar had Velvet with a hamburger in hand. Ruby looked at it and then down to Velvet’s meaty arm. ‘She’s just so cute.’ She thought before snapping to. This hallway had to lead to a place with food. Ruby would avoid that, seeing as she just ate.
The final pillar had Velvet with her arms crossed in an X shape over her chest. Again, Ruby was momentarily distracted as she saw Velvet’s arms squish against her fat chest. “Snap to!” Ruby clapped her hands on her cheeks. She looked down the hall to see an abrupt dead end. “Got it, codes. Thank you, Velvet, wherever you are.”
“Wherever who is?”
“GAK!” Ruby squeaked. She would have leaped in the air if she weren’t so heavy. She turned to see Yang, who acted as if she didn’t give her sister a heart attack. Ruby’s cheeks puffed and turned pink before she started to smack her sister. They were light, playful slaps.
At first.
Ruby’s frustration didn’t give way, so she landed one not-so-serious punch to Yang’s gut.
Yang shrugged it off and started to parry her sister’s blows. “You stared at that photo of Coco, then wandered off. I got curious. You move pretty quick for someone your size.” Yang teased and squeezed Ruby’s love handles. That earned her another punch.
“If you two are done arguing, I also found something.” Weiss rolled her eyes as Ruby and Yang turned toward her. She lifted a photo of what looked like a steam colored door. Something odder was that neither Coco nor Velvet was in the photo. There also appeared to be water damage around the edge. “This is an older photo, and I’m hesitant to write it off.”
The group looked closer. There weren’t any doors like this. It also seemed this door was in a hallway.
“So,” Blake started. “We’ll need to search along the river for this door. We’re already looking for Coco and Velvet, but maybe they’re trying to find the door, too?”
Yang rubbed her chins. “Which means there’s a chance they’ve already moved on. This place is a pain in the ass. Let’s just get back in the water, my knees hurt.” Yang waddled to the lazy river and hopped in.
The rest knew Yang wasn’t the patientest type, so they waddled after her. Weiss and Blake got back in the water, while Ruby lagged behind. She had been oddly perceptive as of late, again spotting something the others missed.
There was a drainage gate on the ground. A simple place where water would flow to as it accumulated on the tile near the lazy river. The edge of a photo peeked from the grate. Ruby had to hunch down for it. When it was still beyond her reach, she lay upon her belly. She carefully tried to grab the edge of the photo, struggling with her tubby fingers.
Ruby gradually got the photo further out before she saw it. The photo was old and damaged like the last one, but the image captured was unsettling on its own. It was a close-up of some type of clawed hand and a fish-like face. In the center was some type of crusted eye…
“Eep!” Ruby flinched, and the photo slipped from her grasp and fell into the drain… Ruby waited a few seconds before she rolled into the pool and followed her friends.
This new place didn’t just feel unsettling anymore. Ruby now felt it might be as dangerous as the earlier halls…
She waddled hastily toward the group and floated further down the river.
