Welcome to the final progress report for v0.15.4!

A reminder that the next update is the final major content update for Episode 1!

But we are going to have another Episode 1 update in August, v0.15.5.

It will not feature any new lewds or anything, but it will have a lot of new dialogue. We aren't even done redrafting it, but it is already 6k words longer.

That update will also require a restart because we are implementing the gallery in v0.15.5!

With that out of the way, let's look ahead at v0.15.4!

Coding

Lotus is hard at work implementing all the sprites, CGs, and lewds into the next update.

Also, this new character sprite has some arm flailing problems that happened with Max, so Lotus is trying to figure out how to fix it.

Improvements and features are kind of on standby as we prep the next update.

Animation

The BIG lewd scene is done! Koth is now working on the last bit of the lewd scene, where the camera angle and positioning change.

We are hoping Koth will have time to animate 1 Special Moment for the next update, but honestly, most of them will be static.

We are hitting a crossroads where, now that we release monthly, it is difficult to animate every special moment in time for every update. So while we want to have every moment animated, it is just not realistic to animate them all in time to meet every release window.

I think for now on, unless it is a very SPECIAL Special Moment, like when we meet a new love interest or show off a new outfit, we are going to throw special moments on the back burner.

We just don't have the budget to hire a second full-time animator to help out with the animations.

Writing

I managed to catch up to Frisbee's draft, which has honestly been a delight to read! She's done a fantastic job adapting to the world and story.

And I managed to start writing for Episode 3! Not very far into it, only 1k words, but I'm excited to dive deeper.

Wrap Up

We are going to start doing internal builds of v0.15.4 and playtesting the hell out of it so that when it releases, it feels good and has minimal bugs.
