This development preview will give you a look into new features coming to Oh So Hero!
The game's two directors, Ket & Red, comprise the programming and art/animation sides, respectively.
Here are their updates!
Ket's Update:
Hi everyone! We hope you are doing well~
We've been busy working on localization (game translation into several languages) as well as prepping content for Act 2. We originally planned to have a much larger Dev Preview, but we've decided to split this up across multiple Dev Previews so you can see some of this content sooner! Expect more to come in April!
As we mentioned in our previous post (Patreon|Substar), Oh So Hero! v1.10 introduced Joe's Throw Moves! We really wanted to give the player more capabilities from the start of Act 1, and we feel Joe is now equipped with all he needs to begin his adventure! Joe can throw both enemies and crates, and with each, he can do a side throw (left/right) or a down throw (into the ground behind him). This provides lots of flexibility for juggling your opponents~
We also have a team of 11 people working on translating Oh So Hero! into 10 languages, with a few more to come. Most of the translations are nearly complete, including Spanish (EU), Spanish (LatAM), Portuguese (Brazil), German, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Swedish, and Finnish. We still need translators for French, Korean, and Japanese. If you speak one of these three languages (and English) fluently and would like to help translate, please fill out our contributor form and we'll try to get back to you during April. Thank you for your help and support! =}
Act 2 work has begun! Technically, we are still in pre-production, but we have finished scoping out all the necessary elements for Act 2. We still have additional planning to do, including what's beyond Act 2. Once we have all our notes compiled into a nice looking presentation, we will show you all a big list of features coming to Act 2! In the meantime, Red and Arty are already working on enemies for Act 2, and Red has also gotten started on the new Southeast Bridge environment. Read on to check it out~

Red's Update:
Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.
I apologize for the small amount of updates. Progress has been slow but steady. This is just a bite sized portion of the bigger preview into Act 2 that I plan to show you guys. Expect a more thorough showoff of Act 2 content in April in terms of the new characters and environments and features in the works.
Take care, everyone!
