So this week I sent a friend of mine a demo that I had made which ultimately didn't make the album, but will likely finish later down the line once the album is done, and it reminded me that I had also made this demo too and, again, decided to scrap it. So I thought I would share it with you today.
This was a song I started working on pretty quickly a few months ago when I decided a different WIP wasn't going to work for the album. The gap it left in the track list wasn't one I liked, and I kind of rushed to create something new to fill it. It was going to be called Their Bodies and Love. However, after a couple of iterations of the demo, I went back on my previous decision and decided this song was not appropriate for the album and the previously-scrapped WIP was way better.
The thing with this song is because it's only a minute long, it doesn't really stand alone, and I kind of made it sound a lot darker than the sound I'm really aiming for with my music. So there's not really anything else to do with it and I don't see myself finishing it or using it for anything else. But I thought you guys may like to hear it and have that lil peek into what could have been. I promise you the decision to drop it for the other track was the right one, though.

I am spending mine at home while I nurse my injured finger (icymi - I cut a chunk out of my finger yesterday and have been dealing with the dressing and re-dressing of a wound that happens to be in one of the most blood vessel dense and nerve dense parts of the body LOL).
