I spent 8 hours today managing and mismanaging files. Just giant sets of frame sequences over 100GB large, constantly getting different versions switched. Deleting, restoring, deleting, restoring, renaming...
I'm really regretting re-rendering portions of the animation instead of just the whole thing.
I've got the frames settled and converting to ProRes now, which should keep Resolve happy for the 60FPS versions when I export the final video.
Unfortunately, because I'm only just starting this process now, it will keep running through the night and we won't see a release today.
I'm so sincerely sorry. I keep thinking everything will be straightforward, like the last "___" times I've created and delivered animations, and there's always some new problem, some new technical difficulty.
I'm so exhausted and I'm not sure if I want to keep doing animation anymore. I literally spent a full-time workday on just moving files around. I can't spend this much time ignoring my real job.

The re-rendered parts are still going. They're taking longer than expected also because I rendered a whole scene and only saw there was a silly mistake in it afterwards, so had to do it again...
We're looking at tomorrow night for the final release, hopefully!
