A thing from last night. I thought I'd share how my process usually goes for illustrations. I'll start with the initial rough sketch that's mostly just chicken scratch to get my idea on the page. I'll then either go to a 3D model program or take ref pics of myself to get a better grasp on the poses. Artists are usually ashamed about using 3D models but I think they're a good (ethical) way to speed up the process, so long as you already understand anatomy. From there it's just about adding clothes, shifting things etc. and then clean up and colours.
