DESCRIPTION

We're so close...

Hey do you like drinking games? Every time you read the word "circling" in this post, take a shot.

And yes, this is your first of the bimonthly release, earlier than usual! Hopefully this is the last WYTR update and I can finally put this baby on Nexus, provided no more issues.

Changes:

  • Fixed circling persisting after death of target or combatant.

  • Fixed circling persisting on disabled actors.

  • Fixed circling persisting on deleted actors.

  • Fixed actors switching from non-melee -> melee not being included into circling.

  • Fixed actors switching from melee -> ranged not being excluded from circling.

  • Fixed actors switching from melee -> staff not being excluded from circling.

  • Fixed actors switching from melee -> staff not being excluded from circling.

  • Fixed actors in unloaded cells remaining as "circling ghosts"; led to cases where everyone would just stand there due to attackers being in another cell.

  • Fixed certain actors being excluded from circling because of quest scenes (what counts as a quest is very very loose, this used to apply to bard performance quests, beggars etc. etc.)

  • Fixed fleeing actors being included into circling.

  • Fixed combat group merging not registering new combatants into circling.

  • Overhauled circling to be more optimized and stable:

    • Removed package-based circling (fake combat)

    • Removed need for .esp/.esl plugin (if you don't want legacy circling feel free to delete this outright)

    • Added engine runtime circling (suppressing the attack handler directly)

    • Configuration option to restore legacy package-based circling (aka same behavior as original Papyrus WYT and previous versions of WYTR) , disabled by default.

    • Circling system should have virtually no stutter even with a horde of actors on the screen.

Switching circling systems may have some problems if you load a save mid-combat. Try not to load a save in combat, or if you must, enable legacy circling -> load the save -> finish combat -> save -> exit game -> disable legacy circling -> load save.
