This is the second issue of the Human Torch story and the narrative gets a bit more focused. Since it's departed from the original Fantastic Four Baxter Building setting, I swapped the comic cover to be specifically about Spider-Man and Human Torch - best bros, though that relation is being called into question now.Given the nature of Marvel Comics and their timelines, I didn't place this at any particular point of the comics beyond that Peter and Mary Jane have been together but aren't anymore. I'd feel uncomfortable if this was Peter cheating on his wife, so instead Johnny is trying to give Peter what she knows he likes by emulating her look.Much like the first issue, I decided to include a special variant cover here which isn't really related to the story itself. When making this story, I was considering having Johnny dress up as Black Cat later on at some point and I still might expand on it by having that be a thing, so the variant cover is just kind of a play on an idea I had that hasn't been realized yet. Also, I got some good feedback on the Daredevil cameo in the last issue and while this one doesn't have any other hero cameos, the third (and currently final) issue has two different ones instead, so please stay tuned!
