Here is the quick mascot character that will appear on page 5 of Welcome to Kinks. As I said before, I decided to come up with this idea on a whim, so I’ll also have to rewrite some of the text in the script. After starting to design this mascot character, I reread the parts where she will speak and realized that the text was actually written from the perspective of a real person. Somehow I had remembered it as more of an automated, general instruction-video type of thing. But it’s no big deal, it won’t change the plot whatsoever.
The first image in the collage shows the images that will appear on the screen.
The second image is my first draft of the design, ...Yeah, I completely forgot about the whip when drawing the finished images. I did change the darker latex to be black instead of a dark pink intentionally. I tried it out with the dark pink first, but it was simply too much pink.
I actually intended for her to look even more chibi, but it’s been so long since I last drew proper chibi characters (which I was never that great at to begin with) that it didn’t quite turn out the way I imagined. I hope it still looks good.
