A Light in the Dark
DESCRIPTION

I’m struggling for an idea of how to start this, but it kind of sparked in me that I should just be honest with myself, with you all, and really start to kick things off in the right direction.

The game, and my dream of making something and telling a story with that something that means something to me, THAT- it feels finally alive. I’m not sure how else to put the complete shift in my perspective and perception. I know people are here for the art, the story, the game I’m working on, but because its all coming from me I feel its important to relate that I got diagnosed with severe chronic hereditary depression. Turns out my body just doesn’t make happy chemicals for my brain nearly as much as a ‘normal’ person gets. And I’ve been having one heck of a whiplash readjustment period for the last 2 weeks getting used to feeling motivated and wanting to actually create things again instead of putting on a face.

So.

Katsuit is alive again, my dreams are alive again, the story I finally have a direction, a purpose, an IDEA I’m passionate about because its still going to have that kink aspect but its also going to be about (and there will be way more about this tomorrow because I plan to write and showoff a lot of the ideas and art I was too paranoid about before to post despite the fact that I should have) characters who are broken, but struggle to do good despite that being broken.

This is a massive shift coming in the positive direction for Katsuit, and I thank you guys for being so patient in waiting while my head got on right. Antidepressants, they are literally one hell of a drug. Especially after going years with literally being unable to feel any positive anything for days, weeks, month stretches at a time.

Anyway, here’s some character head profile shots of the four main characters! Character art, and a poster, and a game model- in the next few days as things start to ramp back up!
