The time has finally come! After almost a year of indexing, organizing, compiling, and researching, I can now finally announce that I have fully indexed every piece of commentary audio for WWE 2K19. Just to test this out I replaced all the “pin” and “cover” commentary and the results are included in the video.
Every word and phrase has been indexed. Over 18,000+ commentary files were indexed in this project which makes room for a first of its kind project. Now, let's talk about Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.
Jim Ross:
I have compiled every piece of audio from Jim Ross in every game he has been in. After careful consideration, I have determined that Jim Ross sounds best in SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth - SmackDown Vs Raw 2005. In the later years, Ross sounded a little slow and sluggish. However, I used the audio from SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth as a base and built JR's commentary based on that. Jim Ross will be the only one calling the moves, and King will react to them. Speaking of King...
Jerry Lawler
I have also compiled every Jerry Lawler commentary audio from WWF Attitude all the way to the later 2K games. After thorough analysis, I have determined that he sounds best in Attitude - SvR 05. I have also included scrapped commentary from SmackDown 2 Know Your Role. The overall idea with Lawler is to add punchlines and comments based on what Jim Ross is saying. I am aiming for an attitude era King Lawler, which means including catchphrases like "Puppies" and showcasing Lawler's perverted side when he sees women.
The plan is to blank out every piece of audio so we can start from scratch. No Cole, no Saxton, and no Graves. This way, we can obtain a clean foundation to incorporate the replaced commentary. I will begin by replacing moves, finishing moves, and match types, which will be provided through weekly updates. Once that is completed, I will proceed to replace wrestler backstories, etc. I may also include a wrestler profile/backstory per update, as I'm currently determining the number of sets of commentary lines for each superstar.
I also have sets of commentary for Joey Styles, Tazz, Vince McMahon, and Shane McMahon, which I intend to work on once the JR and King mod is in a good place.

I also discovered chair shots, punches, super kicks and pyro audio as well which will make things very interesting in the future.
