You May have missed out on some of the content we created last month, so let's give you a recap of our May Releases! Read all about it below or watch the video version HERE.
First, we released eleven new tokens this month including the Catfolk Sorcerer, and big creatures like the Tribex, Nighthound and Giant Sea Eel! We also released several tokens of characters you may recognize from our streamed campaigns, like Winston the Dragonborn Ranger or Daisy the Mutated Cow. 🐄
Speaking of our streamed campaigns, Defenders of Phandelver had some trouble with the law in our latest Coffee and Chaos game, and followed that up with a deadly flashback episode where we explored Penny and Valandor's past!
Meanwhile the Fears & Fortunes party just had a super sized ball episode! The art from it is incredible so be sure to check that out on our YouTube! It was a happy session for the players, and since this is a horror campaign, it'll likely be their last happy session.
Moving onto the team at FA Battlemaps, they released three new maps this month including Ancient Pyramid, an ideal locale for a campaign like Tomb of Annihilation, but you can customize it to fit your needs. Perhaps its an vampiric altar in the jungle. Or perhaps its a bone dry pyramid in the desert, where you must solve the puzzle to quench your thirst! Or maybe it's the acid covered entrance to a beholder's lair!
If that map is TOO exciting for you, then you should stop by the Creaky Stool Inn, a quaint place to stay in any urban environment like Waterdeep. It has a fully stocked kitchen and bar, plenty of seating, optional stairs and a place for the bartender's cat to sleep! You can also choose to make the rooms upstairs completely empty so you can customize them for your adventure!
And finally FA Battlemaps brought us Lakeside Village Ruin, a great map for your party to explore. Perhaps a creature has taken up residence here, or perhaps the party is tracking a caravan gone missing, or finding a secret dungeon hidden below the ruins. Just don't stick around too long, or the thing that ruined this village may return!
All of these amazing maps are made using the incredible content from our Assets Team, who released three new themed packs this month which include Dwarven Style Walls, Rugs, Weapons, Pots, Lights and Textures!
All of these assets are available to use right away in FA Nexus, our mapmaking module for Foundry Virtual Tabletop. You can try it for free right now to add some assets to your maps, or become one of our Adventurer Tiered Patrons to get access to all the new Dwarven assets, and the ability to build fully functional buildings right in foundry! Version 0.5 of FA Nexus just released this month for Foundry v14, and it comes with new features like Tile Masking, Texture Blend Modes, and shadow only mode!
That's all the updates we have this month, once again, thank you to our amazing patrons for supporting our work, we wouldn't be able to do it without you! Until next time, follow us on our socials to hear about everything we're up to!
