What was really interesting about this particular set of episodes was how we get a training montage but we get it in a way that feels fresh and fun. There were actual stakes involved and honestly the whole part with Lisa Lisa was just amazing. I love how her music had this edge of sensuality and flamenco with the terrific guitar and her absolutely just bashing both of them in. Caesar is definitely the more advanced of the two and I love seeing how he slowly starts to rally behind and essentially fall in love with Joseph more or less. there's a sense of respect that he feels towards him that I find really charming to watch unfold. Also I wasn't expecting episode 17! this particular conflict i expected in a couple episodes after this training section and it was surprising to see how Joseph was already ready to go and how even though he's hot headed and ill-mannered he's still really intelligent and way more poised than he lets on LOL.
