Second post for the Character Poll update

Here you will have to decide whether you like the new proposal for Extra Points, and if so, what to do with the current Extra Points.

Recently, someone suggested a new system for managing extra points, which I don't mind, but as usual, I'll let you decide whether to implement it or not.

Here are the proposals:

1-1 The Extra Points system remains the same

Under the current system, every time a character is nominated, their extra points increase exponentially (0, 1, 3, 6, 10, etc.)

1-2 Using the new Extra Points system

The new system specifies that the Extra Points to be added are the votes the character received during the poll.

Example: Character A lost the poll and received 20 points from the votes; for the next poll, they will have 20 extra points. Character A lost the poll again and this time (without counting the current extra points) received 25 points from the votes; for the next poll, they will have 45 points, and so on.

If the new system is adopted, we’ll need to decide what to do with the current extra points; these are the options:
