There have been opinions that the current Workshop Mod contains too many assets, hard to find specific asset and the file size is to large due to unnecessary assets.
Therefore, here is a survey regarding the potential separation of Workshop Mod into themed packs.
For example, if we do separation.
(1) Oppressor's Construction Workshop
A collection of construction site-related assets)
Cable Drum / Concrete Mixer ...
(2) Oppressor's Housing Workshop
A collection of house-building related assets
Concrete Foundation / Concrete Wall / Glass Wall ...
Advantages of Separation:
Easier to find assets by category
Reduced mod size by avoiding installation of unnecessary packs
Disadvantages of Separation:
Increased number of .esp files
Compatibility issues with the "Falloutfield 2287 World" mod (This project has been officially abandoned)
Objects already placed in settlements may disappear and need to be placed again
(Due to object codes being changed, the game will not recognize them as the same data)
Due to workflow efficiency, I can't support 'full pack version' and 'separated pack version' both.
(If I support all, I always have to do the same work twice.)
If the separation is confirmed, the Workshop Mod will be gradually divided over the course of several months.
